I'll never understand why Alexander Pedals isn't one of the most talked about pedal makers right now. Their DSP stuff is honestly the best in the game, its never unusable but is always unique which is a very rare combo.

Agreed! Their stuff always sounds fantastic, and they build so much into these small pedals

The Sugar Cubes were actually shimmery in an original pop way.. great name!! Great sound.. this might be my personal go-to chorus!!

Oh my. Alexander has been killing it lately. I'm on the constant search for the perfect chorus and have been dreaming about a pitch shifted chorus like this for a couple years now. Sounds as cool as I dreamed it would.

Sounds amazing, not sure when my budget will come around to more modulation but this is def on my radar now, thanks for the lovely demo

Some of the most consistently moving playing out there. Really appreciate the feature overview and highlighting of the ramp control.

Daaang you really showed off some interesting sounds that absolutely made me want this. I did not get the same level of intrigue from other demos. You always seem to find a way to show off just what I'd be looking for.

Thank you! I tried something a bit different with the background and I really like how it turned out

    Dream pop in a box

Absolutely! It nails most of my favorite modulation tones for dream pop

how do you think this compares to some of the other modulation pedals out there? I've been torn between the Champion Leccy Woozy, Caroline Somersault, SolidGoldFX NU-33, and Fairfield Shallow Water. This doesn't help make my decision any easier!

Use your ears. They are all good pedals, you can't go wrong.

I owned the Woozy and currently own a Somersault. The Woozy is absolutely lo-fi and the Sugarcube seems to handle both hi-fi and lo-fi. The Somersault has a leg up with its lag control and tone toggles, but it seems the Sugarcube can sound more lush.

They're all great pedals, and all have slightly different strengths. It can be pretty hard to pick these days because there's so much good stuff out there. But think about what will work in your setup - analog or digital, chorus or vibrato, lofi or more standard, normal or weird?

@@collectoremitter I’ve kinda given up on just having one lush, lofi mod pedal because of all these choices. Which do you think would pair well with somersault ? (That pedal is not leaving because of the havoc :P)

    This or Julianna ??

    • @CamiloSinger

Considering this has presets and true stereo, I'd go for the Sugarcube.

Are you looking for digital or analog? Julianna (or Julia) has that classic analog sound, but this definitely offers a lot for the price and size with all the different modes

I like the analog everything. That’s why I went Julianna
