This ABSOLUTELY the best video of Hamburg ever made. I work in Hamburg in the theatre every couple of years and this captures the absolute best of the city. It's not touristy and kitschy like all other videos. I see all my favourite spots that most videos don't even mention. I will save this video to watch again and again. Thank you so much for the fab work!!!🥰
Absolutely love the video of my hometown 🥰 I even learned a new thing or two for my next trip back! Do not miss out on it's famous pastry, too: Franzbrötchen. A deliciously moist flat cinnamon pastry. Soo good! Can't wait to be back, there's always something new to discover!
Hello, may I ask because I'm planning to enroll this September in Academy of Arts in Germany located in Hamburg maybe you are familiar with it. Where is the ideal place, safe and affordable to stay for 3 months? Please help me to have an idea. I'm from other country.
I'm in Hamburg now and this video gave a great look of where & what I want to experience before I traveled here. Today I'm taking a walk down the dock areas until I reach the fischmarkt/st.pauli/reeperbahn areas.
Very nice video about my home town and all the places presented in this video are within the city center, so you can go there by foot if you have more then a day or rent a bike or escooter. Also there is a very good public transportation system with S-Bahn, U-Bahn (like NY metro) and bus. If you have more time, there are even more spots to explore outside the city center, like Stadtpark, botanischer Garten in Klein Flottbek, Treppenviertel in Blankeneese. We have a lot of museums which provide a wide variety of themes. You can also visit KZ Neuengamme, a WWII concentration camp memorial, if you like the country side we have Vier und Marschlanden or Das Alte Land, were you can see one of the biggest apple production area in Europe. At 13:37 there should be a Franzbrötchen as snack, the most popular sweet bakery in Hamburg and very tasty. Have fun here and visit Hamburg ❤
Very nice Hamburg video. When you´ve been at tower of the St. Michaelis church, have you been inside too? Sooooo beautiful. Also the Blankenese "Treppenviertel" (Stairs Quarter) is definitely worth a visit.
0:57 a huge mistake, Hamburg is NOT a Free Hanseatic City, but a Free AND Hanseatic City (the only one in the world). Bremen is indeed "only" a Free Hanseatic City.
Minor, well, not so minor thing about the names of Bremen and Hamburg. Contrary to Bremen [or Lübeck for that matter] Hamburg is a Free AND Hanseatic city. The other two became free as Hanse cities while Hamburg was free first and became a Hanse port later.
Finally a decent video about Hamburg! 😊 👍
I simply love Hamburg. My city and my home HAM or HH, I am all in 🥰

Please also explain about the costs and prices. For example, the price of transportation, entertainment and hostel
Hamburg hat eine Aussenalster, aber keine "Ausseralster" (12:17) !
