    Hi my name is Carl Jacobson,
    I started woodworking with my grandfather as a young boy. I continued woodworking through high school, and started woodturning after seeing a turned project in a friends shop. Some of my fondest memories are working with my grandfather in his wood shop. Being able to share our passion for woodturning and woodworking, ties it all together. We do a lot of epoxy projects as well as woodturning.

    Great idea Carl and a great remake of your flower project from 3 years ago.
    For Valentine's there's nothing better than everlasting flowers for an everlasting love. But you have to be careful, despite the flowers don't need attention to stay, you'll have to work hard to keep your love, but working pays, as the love might grow with the years to come and even makes you stronger.
    "Map" as the answer to your question where you can find an ocean without water seems to me little controversy. I see these "waterless oceans" also inside emotion, motion. (just look at the phonetics) And as the map is a picture (or drawing) of an ocean these are real "oceans". -- Just an idea from a twisted mind.
    Greetings from Good Old Germany
    Peter

Thanks again for sharing your concepts in turning flowers with me. I also saw your other video on turning flowers, using a block of wood and cutting them prior to turning them. • @zfotoguy71
    @zfotoguy71 10 років тому

    Another quick way to cut them is put them on a sled with an angle on it so the flower won't roll off the sled. Make sure the sled slips around on the bed of the band saw and use a thin blade to make your cuts. If you have a sharp new band saw blade you shouldn't have a lot of sanding to do.

    Really great technique and that hollowing tool looks much easier to use than the one with the laser! I wonder how thin you can turn the flowers? One of these days I'll find a job and be able to afford a lathe and try out all these things I'm learning.
