Inez Andrews is a vibrant and powerful singer / songwriter and musical arranger. She may have looked that way because the background vocalists may be challenging her. I always loved her solo work and the years with The Caravans especially her I’am Not Tired Yet with The Caravans. Praise God I’am not tired.

I know ‘drama’ is more fun, but if you actually pay attention, she quietly sings “in the deep blue sea” before the backing singers correctly sing “red sea” behind her, then she turns and makes a exasperated face at them and turns back to sing with a smile. This was a filmed performance and important to them. Inez may have been a staunch character but unprofessional she WASN’T.
