IMPORTANT CORRECTIONS: For the GPU bridge, if you have v1.0, you will need to order the updated rear panel which includes shorter motherboard standoffs and cutouts for the GPU bracket fingers. Based on the NCASE website, this should allow enough room for the Corsair GPU bridge without the cover on and using electrical tape over the exposed pins to prevent any hazards. No, I don't like that solution either, I would recommend going for a different layout if you want to run a larger graphics card.
You can add the fan brackets to the top in flipped config. Install the front fan brace to the front panel as normal, then for the back panel, you can use the extra standoffs to reach the holes needed to install the back fan brace.
Can a 160mm air cooler fit with this case?

It boggles the mind how there aren't really any big manufacturers making cases like this, it's always limited run boutique stuff that is impossible to buy.
Lian Li has the A4 H20 and Fractal Terra that has decent quality. Both fit a 4090 FE.
Cooler Master also has NR200/P, Phanteks has the Evolv Shift XT, they both fit FE cards.
@@crimsonleg4237 For a less than 15 liter case, not really ideal if you’re looking for a 4090 build. But those are good case too for water cooling.
I want to put my computer on the desk so I'm looking for a vertical case. Of course that means I've been eyeing the Meshlicious/Meshroom, but I heard that SSUPD/Lian Li has been pretty bad, so I'm not sure what to make of that. And the FF1 is supposedly coming soon, but there doesn't seem to be any news about that... The 17L is also a little on the big side for me, so I'll have to see. And it's going to be practically half the price of the M1EVO, so I don't really know how that is possible without significant downgrades to the materials, which I'm a bit confused about.
Maybe I should just stop waiting and get the Meshroom.
@saulghim2661 Having the Meshlicious, it's easily a recommended case ! Very pleasant experience to build in and great cooling. Maybe not as well machined as Formd T1 but way better than NR200P for having this one too for a while (and smaller of course). The only thing to purchase with vertical case : by a 90° DP/HDMI adapter ;)
7800x3d and 4090 in such a small build is so satisfying
Nice build! Tip from my experience with the M1 EVO, you can back the USB-C ports back a notch on the front IO bracket so they’re flush just like the USB-A ones and not sticking out

DC C4 case owner here, I had to get a custom 12v cable from Moddiy to even shut the panel so it's not JUST some of these other amazing cases that struggle with the bad design of the 12v cables on modern gpu's.
I'm glad there are more front panel options for the M1 Evo, because the default while nostalgic for some just makes it look dated to me. The OG M1 is what made me SFF crazy way back when, but I'm happy the C4 & T1 exist(ed) as a result.

I've been waiting for a ITX case that will fit my 4090 Gigabyte OC and this is it, instantly purchased it and am excited but they didn't have the extra fan / aio bracket in stock so I'm hoping I won't need it but a matter of time.

I'd love to have this or the dancase c4 but they are never in stock or stopped production and seem to be limited drop. I have a T1 v1 and don't feel the need to upgrade from it really yet with my current build with the 7800x3d and 4080 but if these cases were more available, I'd probably get a new case.

I built up this case with Asus TUF 4070ti in vertical, with Asus Strix AIO 360 (initially tried AF2 360, but couldn't make it fit). I initially tried glass side panel, but was running near 80c when Sim Racing, mesh side panel dropped Temps over 10c into the mid 60s. Case is great, but would not recommend glass panel with large vertical GPU.
Also The Finals, a competitive FPS does offer frame generation. I wish BattleNonsense would come back out of retirement to test the latency in it.

@@beershifter Not all 750W PSUs are created equally, But the SF750 has been proven time & again to handle transients incredibly well. Unless you're pairing a overclocked 4090 with an overclocked 13900k/14900k, you should be just fine. 4090(FE)/7800x3d is
Your 3090 should pull 450w in very extreme scenarios, a good cpu ~70w, storage, ram, mobo, fans, RGB ~120w, so in only the most extreme scenarios would you be pushed, if you bought a 4090 that sucks more power because of an oc, or an inefficient cpu or a crap ton of RGB, so 750 should be good but I would recommend locking power for 90% performance and like 100w less, which would help in this form factor

After one year, I'm still surprised by the size of 4090
It's especially depressing considering the temps it hits.
In a decently cooled case, under normal gaming loads (not synthetic) it barely hits 60c, usually partner made cards barely hit 56c.
Since it can also use 60% power limit to deliver like 90% of the performance, some of the bigger cards could possibly just not spin it's fans if in a bigger case with enough fans.
I honestly hope somebody makes a smaller 4090, dual slot, same size as the 4070 founders edition, let it heat up to 80c or just have fans that actually spin. Because most 4090s are damn near silent in normal atx cases.
Acer did make a smaller 4090 for prebuilts, but it was special and used a liquid cooling system with a pump built in even though it looks just like a normal air cooled card.
Interesting but it was only slightly smaller and had really bad temps
i heard the 4090 was supposed to be up to a 600w card without any overclocking or crazy power limits but they couldn't guarantee that performance on the chips they had made before the release deadline so they gimped the cards to around 400, after they had already designed the cooler for a card that was running 30% harder. so these huge coolers are just way overpowered for what kind of cards they're on

I hate to be THAT guy but as an engineer, "CNC grade aluminum" means nothing lol. An alloy grade is judged by its composition, not how it's manufactured. In other words, you'd want to say "high grade CNC'd/machined aluminum". The aluminum is probably standard run of the mill, but you market it better and you're right, it is CNC'd or machined, which makes it more clean and gives it more value (NOT grade). Thanks and sorry

Hey, brother. What do you recommend for a workstation for engineering tasks (aersopace) and light gaming but I would also like power efficiency?
I do not see a big advantage of using a compact case for such level of hardware. Certainly, it may be challenging to build such PC, but not much benefits for ordinary user as I.

750w with 4090 seems like it's not enough honestly. it may down clock the GPU if power supply can't feed enough of power into it.
It's simple math. 4090 at full tilt can pull up to 450w, with any cpu pulling under 100w that leaves 200 watts left for the rest of the system, so there's easily 100w left in the tank - and not to mention it's a Platinum rated unit. I dont understand where people get this idea that you need a 1000 watt unit to power these cards...
Please don't remove the cover of the Corsair 180-degree adapter. Those solder points on the back are live and you risk shorting them by bumping them against the metal side panel.
Do you have a source on it being "live" and shortening? Ncase themselves notates taking off the cover on their website. ncased.com/collections/m1/products/m1evo-rear-panel
@@devyn.johnston That is just by how it's constructed. The solder points on the back connect directly to the pins in the connector. That's why they are labeled 12V, GND, etc. With the rear panel you linked the risk is lower as I assume the side panel won't be in contact with the adapter. But if the user doesn't use that rear panel (like what you showed in the video) it can be shorted (you can't rely on the paint on the side panel to insulate).
The rear panels not going to make the top and bottom wider, its the shorter standoffs that are supposed to make room for the gpu bridge and all of that is already included in v1.1 kits... either way, the ncased website is the one that suggested taking off the cover. If you pay attention to the video, I don't take the cover off throughout the whole thing, because I don't like the idea of having the cover removed either. And I further explain that I think the case should have been made wider to resolve this.
The whole point of that section of video where I was visually showing it removed (based on ncase's recommendation) was to show that it still hits, even with the cover off. I was not personally endorsing it - mainly just explaining that I didn't like it.
@@devyn.johnston I know what the v1.1 kit does. But there are people who run v1.0 which would have the issue. I just don’t want them to see this video and run the adapter without the cover and have it bump against the side panel, and short their 4090.
I Liked the review, sadly Ncase does not take Amex or Pay Pal oddly enough.... so yeah will not purchase just due to that.
4090 is way too big and heavy to be horizontally mounted. There are already a lot of report about PCIE mount cracking on FE and AIB card. Vertical mount for ITX is the way to go.
That 4090 sagging hurts. Install a stand or something please.

Well I think a person using such a powerful card, should be producing a product and making money off of the card, not just gaming.

So tired to all these "Mini ITX" builds using Founders Edition 4090's nobody outside of mostly influencers/reviewers have that fit in cases that all the rest of the partner cards don't. If you want to surprise us go ahead and try doing a build with a partner 4090.......we'll wait.
You won't have to wait long. did you get to the part in the video where I talk about GPU support? It fits 4 slot GPUs up to 359mm in length. Most partner cards fit here...
