@@BZTAchannel no worries was nice to watch..I know you will probably put it what gears 4H or 4L and all that but I've not seen anyone explain which gears in automatic or manual to drive in and shift with going on flats or up and down dunes
Hi James thanks for checking my video. I am actually preparing a video about the right gear to drive with when you go offroad which will be out soon. 4 low might keep your trans temp down but you can't drive in 4 low for a longer time as it will put a lot of pressure on your car and will make it difficult to make turns. It all comes back to the style of driving, speed, the terrain and the car type. Thanks again for checking my video :-)
Hi there ! New subcriber. I just got into the 4x4 world. I bought a Patrol and I would like to join a club as a weekend driver to enjoy the experience (with previous learning lessons) can you give me any advice? Where to go and which ppl to meet ? Thanks for the videos!
Hey welcome to offroading you will love it. You can start with this club they are very professional and friendly: instagram.com/almost4x4?igshid=YmM0MjE2YWMzOA==
Hi - are you supposed to engage centre diff lock or not ? I am finding conflicting information from various forums/videos so don't know who is right. I know that locking the centre diff will mean turning the car will be more difficult so does that mean you run the risk of getting stuck while turning ?
Hi Asfand. You only engage diff lock when you are stuck and want to get out. Do not engage for the full drive the car will be very heavy and you will put pressure on your gears. When you drive offroad drive in 4H. And if you got stuck then engage 4L and diff lock to get out. Once out go back to 4H and disengage diff lock.
Bro do you think a 2016 ford edge AWD can go on the smaller dunes? There is a video on the ford middle East UA-cam channel showing it going on large dunes. Do you think it will be able to do it. What psi would you suggest for the tyres. They are 19 inch, 245mm wide and 55% sidewall to width
Hey Aidan, thanks for checking my channel. I have seen Ford Edge driving on the sand and because it is AWD it does struggle on the sand. However if you want to take it offroad then you need to take the psi down to 15 and drive and if you got a pop out then change the psi to 17 and so on until you find the sweet spot for your tire and rim. Make sure you drive on 1st gear only and if it is an open flat ground you can go to 2nd or 3rd gear. Your front and back bumpers will struggle and might scope sand and break since the car is not lifted and the bumpers are not made for offroad. What you can do in this case is simple remove the bumpers (at least the front one) and keep it at home then you can go offroad and have a peace of mind that you won't break or loose your bumper in the sand. Happy offroading and welcome to BZTA channel. I will soon start an offroad trips for my followers, so make sure to follow me on Instagram to catch the announcement 😁

I wish you all the best bro 😊😊❤❤
Lovely info

I think you may want to go over the reasons to be in 4 Low, and when. Also if you have an auto trans, I do not, 4 low can keep your trans temp down.

i have a 2015 pajero but the only why that i can tuen of traction control is if i put the rear diff on (4hlc) can drive dunes with my rear diff on
You can also turn off the traction control by pulling the fuse :-)
Bu Zayed can you do a video on how to approach on dunes?
Hi Syed, I made a basic video about climbing dunes but for sure I’ll make one for approaching the dunes 😁
