That was wonderful. Amazing how adding an extra beat completely elevates the simplest phrases. It would have been useful to have seen the last (2 hand) piece in a colour coded form to see what each hand was doing. 🤷🏻♂️ Genuine question… I love arpeggios, especially with interesting timings. From classical guitar to Robert Fripp etc, but on piano it feels the comparison to Philip Glass is so tempting it often feels like plagiarism. Do you think we have passed the point where Glass effectively owns weird arpeggios and we can all now legitimately use them, in the way that all unique, ground breaking things eventually become a style or genre for all to explore?
