one of the things that actually helped me to get better is to watch at map as often as you can, put down vision (yes, even if youre not playing support) and track enemys jungle (again, even if youre not the jungle yourself), also try and help out your jungle when he needs to secure an object or when hes having a skermish in the river
It's all about games, games, games. If you have a 51% winrate, you are on your way up. Don't be discouraged, just keep playing. Just make sure you are running 1-2 champs every single game, using the same strategy every single game. There are champs for everyone to use to completely shut enemies down regardless of circumstance. We're talking noob champs that a handicapped person can't mess up on. For example, if you know how to Q-E-R-Ignite with Garen, you can get Diamond. The only thing you need to do EVERY SINGLE GAME is to pressure opposite side of your team all game. If you can kill your laner, kill and push. If you can't, don't keep trying. Bait him to the side lane, and sneak back to his team for a 5v4. Rinse repeat. Obviously there's wave management and more intricacies, but my point is you just need 1 replicable strategy for every game. Go in with a SPECIFIC plan of attack and stick to it. It's ALL ABOUT THE HOURS. Riot matchmaking doesn't care about "I keep getting bad luck with teammates, this is not fair". They just want you to keep playing. It's designed to be a slow, SLOOOOW grind. It's gonna take AT LEAST 100-200 games to reach your goal. Once you've reluctantly accepted this, you're ready to climb, and you WILL climb.
One also thing that Can make you climb very fast as well is learning ONE champ over and over in normal then comeback to rank , you will climb very fast , i tried Play Ranked post 1 mill and absolutly crushed Silver elo and stopped at S1 ( I don't like playing for compétition but i wanted to give it a try) Later on post 1.5mill i played again started gold in promo and ending P2 and After losstreak P3 , now im 1.9mill and i'm pretty sure i could reach emerald and maybe get out. Ofc i learnt a lot of macro in between but straight otp-ing and get you plat without macro knowledge.

My opinions from observing silver friends. In game behavior -Drop any and all the ego-(why?)->slows down growth when you blame the team, but don't think on how you can improve yourself. This is a very common issue across all ranks -Think of the game as a single player game-(why?)->you can't control your teammates, but you can control yourself. Forming your entire game plan on teammates will end up being a coinflip. Ideally have a good team will make your game plan easier, but often times in silver elo people are in their own world and will make the same mistake over and over. Sometimes people in silver dont see an angle when you see the angle. Or even if youre in a fight, most silver players play on locked cams and dont realize people are fighting close by. This doesnt mean dont rely on your team, but this point means to not put yourself in situations where you expect teammates to react to map plays by rotating. -Don't type back unless you want to make a plan-(why?)-> Waste of comms if it is not map plays or summoner cooldowns -Mute all pings and text from toxic chat players-(why?)-> waste of brain power to communicate with those people better to focus in game -Dont call out bad plays or misplays as most players-(why?)-> most players can't be reasoned with or not receptive to any criticism -Dont tilt from early game-(why?)-> most players in silver have a high probability to will throw In game improvement -Try to get better cs-(how?)-> play some normals or flex games where you focus on just farming try to get more than 6 cs as a starter in silver, but as you get better as csing realize when to give up cs and when not to give up such as map plays that can net multiple kills and objectives. -Keep track of cooldowns in lane -(why?)-> most times the enemy laner will use many abilities to hit waves and can open an opportunity to trade back hard or if the enemy used a key ability to trade with you but missed, then you can trade back -imagine you and the enemies have an invisible circle depending on their range in their kits-(why?)->it is important to space around champions especially and keep a mental note on what kind of abilities they could use on you. For example, if youre a ranged champ into a melee then you want to make that the melee champ does not close the x amount of distance between you and them. I see this very often in silver where ranged champions are within melee ranged without kiting back. -dont waste cooldowns for no reason-(why?)-> very often i see silver players with no mana or spamming abilities on the wave/enemy for no reason -escort the support to drop wards-(why?)->if support dies then the objective is free -dont push into fog without knowing where all the enemies are-(why?)->youre a free kill lol
that last bit it's so true, you need to be prepared to lose even if you do your best, sometimes lol matchmaking it's like that, endurance it's the best way to confront the climb
I spammed yorick mid and top. But watching streamers who one tricked the champ and had a play style similar to mine helped alot. At that point it was just refining my decision making and learning matchups.
Yeaah that last part is why I like climbing Marvel Snap so much more. *I* choose how much "lp" (cubes) I want to risk for that game. And if I see that I will most likely lose, then I can retreat and minimize the cubes I lose. Plus it's 1v1 with no chat so no toxicity.
Absolute Legend. Cant even find you in search yet you give the best definition of the game ever. I was hard stuck Silver thinking I was just bad at the game. Turn out it is the game fault. After like 2 weeks of watching this vid i climbed from bronze 3 to gold 3. Best video for literally anyone.

you sound like AI, but this video is very good. you legit explained low Elo mistakes.. A thing you can do if u play midland is: just don't roam, like you can't loose anything if you never leave your lane and go coin flip stuff for no reason. and if the enemy is roaming than lucky you, you get free exp gold and tower plates Also mute chat. You don't need it, its just a distraction
Yeah I can outplay my opponents 3 of 5 matches. The other two we're even at worst case. However, my 4 teammates don't seem to display any basic micro/macro capability about 80% of the time and chase losing fights with 0 vision all match long. I don't see a video about how to stop 4 people from forcing you to lose. Mind you, losing a match is fine. Being continually forced to lose due to ranked players with accounts over level 200 with 3-600 matches in the same elo? Yeah, I dunno wtf to do with that level of hard stuck.
Win lane - chose a lane and push that - kill enemys 30sec befor objectivs like dragon or herold - play only for urself --- this works until Diamond ...
I think that last one cannot not be understated. If I could add one that kind of relates to it, I never ranked in lol but I have ranked pretty high in a few other games and mental cannot be underestimated. If you're tilted stop playing. If you're mad you will screw up winnable games. Like for me, I start getting angry after 3 losses in a row so I stop. The game will be there in an hour, the next day, or the weekend.
I helped my friend getting out of bronze and silver. Main issue I noticed is he was always roaming from toplane trying to help his teammates. He was constantly focused on what his teammates are doing. You can get out of silver by purely ego pushing your lane. Never leave lane, ONLY push your lane. In the end you will be 2 levels above your enemy laner because he did stupid roams and you didn't. You will end most games solo while enemy team has a teamfight and lack of map awareness to recall to base. You don't even need to play a splitpush champ for that.
i've been playing the game for 3 yrs and obviously knew basic macro but i guess hearing that sometimes "it's already decided that i'll loose" helps a bit although my mentality really isn't strong enough to keep playing after dominating lane and loosing so i guess i just won't climb

-Don't type back unless you want to make a plan-(why?)-> Waste of comms if it is not map plays or summoner cooldowns
-Mute all pings and text from toxic chat players-(why?)-> waste of brain power to communicate with those people better to focus in game
-Dont call out bad plays or misplays as most players-(why?)-> most players can't be reasoned with or not receptive to any criticism
-Dont tilt from early game-(why?)-> most players in silver have a high probability to will throw
In game improvement
-Try to get better cs-(how?)-> play some normals or flex games where you focus on just farming try to get more than 6 cs as a starter in silver, but as you get better as csing realize when to give up cs and when not to give up such as map plays that can net multiple kills and objectives.

Probably the best guide to climbing in soloq. Simple and effective advice straight to the point. Well done!
I finally got to gold last season. All I had to do was buy a new account!

Step 1: pick nasus
step 2: get out of silver free card
step 3: you actually got out of silver and are now bronze
