Now United is composed of 18 members (14 originally). Each one of them is from a different country. They have their flag on their costumes (belts, sleeve, chest....). The group was created by Simon Fuller, a famous american producer who did a international audition. Many of the members were scouted on social medias. NU is especially famous in Brazil because Any (the brazilian member) is well known there. But they did a world tour with concerts in London, Paris, Philippines, USA... Their choreographer is Kyle Hanagami, the choreographer of BlackPink and they also worked with Nicky Andersen, a choreographer who worked on Dynamite from BTS. Their music is really optimistic, positive. It's a bit cheesy yes but it sure gives happiness to listeners.

They didn't know each other before and that's the point of this group. The goal was to show the world that you can unite people from all around the world (didn't know each other, different languages, different cultures...) with music.

I'll explain, now united was created in 2017 by simon fuller, same creator of the spice girls and american idol, there's even a documentary on their channel showing Simon's entire process to choose who would be part of the group. In the beginning there were 14 members, but 4 more have already joined (one has joined this week), so currently there are 18 members. Of these 18, 3 are "inactive", focusing on other personal projects, but they’re still part of now united and appear sometimes. There are 18 people, one from each country and it is the first time in history that this has been done. The idea is to show people the union through art, dance, music. They travel all over the world performing shows and sharing the culture of the place on "The Now United Show" (a reality show on their channel that shows them in their everyday lives). Some came in as singers and others as dancers, but everyone has to know how to dance. Currently, even those who came in as dancers are singing on some songs, which is really good. That's it, I've written too much hahahahah this group is wonderful, has a beautiful purpose and is super talented (sorry for the big text)
