You did an amazing job here but I would like to know how much finish the dress because my wedding is coming up soon and am also sewing my wedding dress too please tell it important for me to how much to budget

    • @chinenyeanoka4358

Thank you! It depends on the
      • kind of dress you’re making
      • type of fabric you’re using (mikado, excellence, duchess, etc)
      • embellishments (with lace, stones, beads)
      • yardage of fabric (still depending on the kind of dress being made)
You’ll spend less on a simple mermaid dress and more on a ball gown because of the yardage.
So just come up with the budget you have in mind and then tailor your dress to fit that budget.
Some brides can spend 500k and above and some less than that. Priorities and choice.

This is beautiful Nenye. I have a question though, for the train of your dress, is there any fabric underneath or is it just the satin?

Hello!!! Just came across your video!!! It’s so inspiring!!! Im actually in same position that you are, and I’m thinking of doing a detachable skirt just like yours. I noticed you did a structural underlay underneath the skirt. How did u do that? I love the fullness and the length also!!❤
