Hey, guys! In this video I'll show you Evolution of Jon Arbuckle.
Jonathan Q. Arbuckle is a fictional character from the Garfield comic strip by Jim Davis. He also appears in the animated television series "Garfield and Friends" and "The Garfield Show", two live-action/CGI movies, and three fully CGI movies.
Jon is the owner of Garfield, whom he is frequently yet unknowingly mocked by, and Odie. A cartoonist by trade, he is largely presented as a comical, bumbling geek who is socially oblivious, especially when it comes to women.

For the story :
Jon was a pretty mature and father-like character in the begginging of the comics. The goofiness and the irresponsibility was actually from a forgotten character (forgot his name, but i remember he has a brown mustach) that was jon's friend and the original owner of Odie.
The version of Jon in "Garfield and friends" is appairently the goofiest because we see multiple times being just a unlucky living joke, getting crazy most of the time because of what is happening to him.
Jon's work life as a cartoonist is rarely mentionned during his existence (exept for the 3D cartoon where there are episodes talking centerly about it).

is it just me or is jon in the Garfield show kinda mean to Garfield? i maybe wrong but there's something to him that makes him come off mean to Garfield in that show? to be fair Garfield can be mean to jon too but jon just kept blaming him for stuff he didn't do. also maybe it's me being silly like come on its a cartoon but really jon, feeding a cat lettuce leaves? get Garfield a catfood he really likes that would taste too good to resist. also didn't watch the full movie but jon in that movie is such a sweetheart, god bless him.
