Synopsis: Shoyo Hinata joins Karasuno High’s volleyball club to be like his idol, a former Karasuno player known as the “Little Giant.” But, Hinata soon finds that he must team up with his middle school nemesis, Tobio Kageyama. Their clashing styles turn into a surprising weapon, but can they beat their rival Nekoma High in the highly anticipated “Dumpster Battle,” the long-awaited ultimate showdown between two opposing underdog teams?

They should’ve just done some more seasons for it. Cuz I think that shortening 109 chapters into 2 movies doesn’t do it justice. Especially since there are some great and emotional things that will happen that I feel like would get ruined by them shortening it
They literally have to cut a lot of content out of the movie or else each movie is gonna be like 10 hours long

i watched the movie in japan already, it's definitely a mix of animations between seasons 1-3 and season 4. i'd say it's peak animation of haikyuu so far. it was hella good
