  • This lesson shows how to differentiate transcendental functions like logarithmic and trigonometric functions. In solving for the derivatives of transcendental functions, you will use the chain rule to differentiate these functions.

No offense but I just watched a 1 hr long video by The Organic Chemistry Tutor and he gave out all the formulas to derive anything and I learned it. This video has way to many steps for something that I learned how to do in one step. It’s over complicated when it shouldn’t be. However you are very knowledgeable.

Thank you for taking time to watch my video, I appreciate your feedback-- it's very insightful. Most of my calculus videos are meant to assist most of my followers and students who happens to be seeing calculus problems for the first time (10th graders). I understand that taking the derivatives of transcendental functions can be done in 1 or 2 steps but that's just showing and not teaching. For a student using derivative rules for the first time, it won't help if I just give them a performance of someone who's been answering calculus problems for over 20 years in my calculus videos. I wish you all the best and thanks for taking time to reach out to me.
