Can you further clarify why you cant precondition? Its because the vehicle is a salvage, so "No supercharging", so no "navigate to near supercharger trick to precondition" but you can use the CCS adaptor and magic dock possibly at a supercharger that is equipped? Looking at a performance that is a little banged up, and assume it will have this flag/limitation also. Hoping to learn more about the limitations and how people can get around them. What are your charging rates/curve on EA? Both non preconditioned and possibly "yoyoing" the car to increase temps, or now with SEXY button preconditioning?
Yeah. So it’s really smart system. When I am close to a SC I can set the nav to it and it will precondition. But that is only when there is one nearby. When I press the button, the car will show me in the energy graph that the car is using the battery for battery preconditioning. When I use this feature pretty often. I get 181kw super consistently at EA
@@WinstonsGarage So if I am understanding you can precondition to a close supercharger, but I assume your supercharging is restricted? As revalidating the HV system is prohibitively expensive with a salvage flag? Thankful you guys can convey those types of details, as I really want to know what I am getting into before hand, and not surprised/disappointed after the fact. Are you able to stack the NACS to CCS + CCS to NACS to utilizer a supercharger with a salvage flag? Read so many conflicting statements, not sure what works/doesn't work...
Yeah, I can when I am close to a SC ( I think, I have done it before). SuperCharging does not work. A HV inspection is about $1000-1500. Of course! If you ever have any questions let me know! I haven't tried the that yet. I want to soon. Yeah, it's rough out there. Send me an Email: Salvagevs@gmail.com. I you are interested we have an amazing community all about rebuilding Teslas.
With the wiper trigger, are you able to utilize the scroll wheel to change wiper speeds? Think I read this might be a recent function that can be invoked?
Cool video! Keep them coming!
Cool
One in the back seems like a good idea

Yeah, it’s a update. Super handy
