Hey im lithuanian! Your lesson is so great, but when we say our alphabet we ussually say for example D we would prounounce it dė! Like ą nosinė(we say the tail too) and B c č dė(even tho we write it as a D) then e ę nosinė ė the ef(as an F) gie(as a g ) Haš(as an H) and like that so thats how we prounce it:)and i just wanted to mention i love your videos they are absolutely AMAZING!!! And your great!!
Wow this might be the best step for me to learn this language. I've been working in Lithuania for almost 4 years but yet to learn this. Because of the spelling and and pronunciation
Latin terminology for this is misleading: for long and short vowel. Length of vowel is not main difference between them in Lithuanian language. Main difference in Lithuanian between those vowels is quality of a sound: "long" vowel is pronaunced more intense, strong and "short" is pronaunced more relax and toneless. In some cases "short" vowel can be longer uttered than "long", but they will sound different.
Im lithuanian pretty nice vid it can be REALLY HARD to learn it with the nosinės but yeah some practice and you should be good -Iš Lietuvos.Ačiū už video😀
