    his guy never heard of e-clips before? go to lowes and get the right part! cut and bent flat washers! wonder how long that will stay together?Also if all i did was pull out the pins and stick them back in i don't need instructions for that how about the spring that goes under the handle direction makes a difference! waste of time!

    I'm not sure what this video is about. It certainly isn't about how to clear jammed staples. This video shows how to reassemble the stapler but why and how did you take it apart? To fix what?

      If you didn't know... the springs on these staplers gets worn out overtime.... the clip that holes the bolts also falls off over time.. the video shows you how to an alternative replacement for replacing the clip and the spring, which are essential to the functioning of the stapler... not all of us have money to go and buy a new one. Some of us are actually living pay check to pay check

    What stops the staple going all the way in and is there a way to fix it so that they do?

      Sometimes the chamber is damaged, and may require a bit of fixing

      The chamber of some staplers over time becomes tight after a period of about 1 year or more

    If you have the original pin (not bolts) why did you go to the hardware store and purchase the snap-rings that fit the groove in the original pins (again they are not bolts) instead of screwing around with flat washers.

      Unfortunately, the original parts are sold in my store. The stores only have flat washers. I have to make use with what I have... it's better to fix it than to waste petrol driving miles to buy a new stapler.

    I tried to takethenut off the screws but they would not budge. I even put penetrating oil on and tried vice grips but nothing worked. Any suggestions?

    • @AmazingSigmaTv
      @AmazingSigmaTv  Рік тому

      the screws arent permanent they usually come off very easily

    I opened my staple gun and a long, about 1", bolt fell out. It came from somewhere inside the mechanism that grabs the spring. I have looked through it and for the life of me cannot figure out where it came from. I don't see anyone in these videos discussing the replacement of that screw. Please Help.

    This video did not solve the problem. I didn't see the threaded bolt anywhere.

    • @AmazingSigmaTv
      @AmazingSigmaTv  10 місяців тому

      Different staple guns have different attachments.. on the old model Arrow t50, which you see in the video, the threaded bolt is the one at the bottom back end only the staple gun, where you pull out the staple spring loader

      @@AmazingSigmaTv I took another staple gun apart and then put both staple guns back together. They both work. I found out the threaded bolt was not part of the staple gun. It had somehow fallen into the opening under the handle and was stopping it from working. So, it's no wonder I didn't see it in the video. The video is still hard to follow without any explanation

    Why use goofy music instead of verbal instruction? We can't even tell what the heck you're trying to fix! Waste of time.

    Guess I’m not sure what you “fixed”, missing clips? Most people would just go buy e clips at the hardware store as opposed to ruining a pair of side cutters cutting a steel washer.

    • @AmazingSigmaTv
      @AmazingSigmaTv  3 роки тому +3

      most people are actually broke or in a distant area where there is no such store to buy replacements.. a quick fix is sometimes needed in these situations wouldnt you agree?

      @@AmazingSigmaTv ,yes I will give you credit for that idea of making a clip on the spot. I never thought of that so kudos!
