I had two of those in Marine configuration for electrical generation. Each time I switched them on they would boom to 1,500 RPM and I would be sure they would blow
since that was an engine driving a generator, it most likely has a speed governor on it set for 1800 RPM ---(60 cy. with a 4 pole generator).. I couldn't tell how big it was, how many KW... ?? It sounded good though!.......
