- This video explores the abilities, powers, and origin of the Image Comics character "Oliver Grayson." From his birth on the planet Thraxa as the son of Omni-Man aka Nolan Grayson and a native named Andressa, leaving his homeworld to live on Earth with his brother Invincible aka Mark Grayson after their dad was captured by a Viltrumite team led by Lucan, Thraxan genetics helping him quickly grow and learn to use his vast superpowers as a superhero named Kid Omni-Man, struggling with his impulsive nature while taking part in major events such as the Invincible War and the Viltrumite War, powerful Viltrumite warriors such as Conquest and Thragg being a thorn in his side which led to him getting cybernetic implants due to injuries, a long sabbatical on the planet Talescria, to paying the ultimate price to protect his brother Invincible and family; Let's take a look at this tenacious Image / Invincible Comics superhero, and the extremely sharp-witted younger brother of Invincible. This includes a short, canon character biography and my own opinionated "Sage Rating," which I use to give ratings of comic book and science fiction characters.

@@skydaddy1678 they actually don't gain strength from being near death. They have to push themselves and workout. Allen (a Unopan) is more like Saiyan in that sense.
@@CerotheDemon if you mean plot, they literally doing the exact same thing plot wise, with the exception of the viltrumites whole “gotta have kids mission”. And if you mean power level, yeah goku, vegeta and most of their kids are way stronger than any viltrumite, but you might be forgetting that there were like millions of Saiyans who aren’t even as strong as Nappa. The average viltrumite would kill the average Saiyan.

Just to add something you may have forgotten, Oliver's work as a double agent for Thragg was allowed by Allen, in reality, Oliver was a triple agent still loyal to the coalition. Just wanted to point this out.
Oliver had some "loose" morals because of his Thraxian heritage but he still was a good guy, and in the end, fought for the right things.

@@filipbabic4913 I’m guessing Eve doesn’t “revive” people but rather repairs their bodies rather than bringing them back from the dead. My guess is that your brain still needs to be alive for her to “revive” you otherwise she’s just making a closed casket funeral into an open casket one.

@@donti338 I actually liked Ollie. He was a little shit some times but I liked the dynamic between him and Mark. The sibling aspect of what they had together. Like the older brother who’s always trying to keep the younger brother out of trouble. And I know exactly how Mark felt because I have a few younger brothers. And coming up it was hell trying to keep my brother(the one right under me) outta trouble. He was always in some type of fight and hot headed lol. But my younger brother passed away in 2017 and that’s another reason why I think I liked Oliver so much. He kinda reminded me of my younger brother.

I wonder of there gonna really introduce Oliver in season 2. I mean... they could use Season 2 to concentrate in small things on earth and Supervillains like the ones of the season end. And introduce the Vultrumite war and people in season 3.

@Egg Egg egg egg yeah there is a 144, but the order of events in the show and comics are noticeably different. just for reference the mark vs Omni man fight happened in issue 10 of the comics, but certain plotlines from as far as issue 30 were already present and happening in the show, such as cecil hiring the guy making the sewer cyborgs to make more, and robot getting a human body. personally i think they'll either put oliver as episode 6/7 of season 2 and have him come back to earth as the season finally, or have his reveal be the season finale and then he is taken to earth in early season 3

With Oliver’s biology he could be stronger than some viltrumites hybrids around the same age, since he ages faster and Vs get stronger the older they are. So by the time he’s marks age he could be extremely stronger than average.
He probably wouldn't live as long. Human Viltrumite hybrid still wins in the long run.

The purer their blood in the case of Mark and Oliver, the longer they live, and considering Oliver's birth race, he would already far long dead before the likes of Mark dies.

New Sage Vid? Days starting off on a good note. Like his daddy, I have mix feels on Kid-Omni. On one hand, Oliver is cool and feisty character. With great one liners. On the other, he’s an annoying know it all little shit. Who never really takes accountability or consequences for his actions. He also had little character development. Nonetheless Kid-Omni is interesting character who has a pretty cool design. Especially when he gets older
