With a population of around 2000, Dangia is a small village located in the Pul-Bizanbari region on the outskirts of Little Rangit River, located 52km from the Darjeeling town. It can be reached from Siliguri via Kurseong or Mirik. The nearby places adjacent to Dangia are Relling, Langurdang, Arubotay and tea gardens like Tumsong Tea Estate and Mim Tea Estate.
Surrounded by forests, flowers, mountains, streams, and farmlands , it’s a perfect offbeat place to take a break from the hustle and bustle of cities .There are beautiful, cozy homestays amidst the valley nearby the river with very warm and sweet hosts.A must visit place for a 2-3 day expedition.
