Canada seems like a great place to live
It is a great place to live for the most part. We definitely have our issues but overall it is a very safe/clean compared to most western countries. Divorce and family courts here are definitely not somewhere you want to end up if you know what I mean.

They are also take far more out of the system than they put in. The only people that actually pay more into the system than they take out of it generally are 40 - 60 year old men.

The judge ruled he had to keep making the payments for a set amount of time. This IS NOT alimony. This is workers' compensation!!! Again, I wouldn't say I like the ruling, but I would let the facts be heard and let people decide based on the facts. Don't become your girlfriend's boss!!!
