Can't disagree with this, except possibly for losing at AZ. Maybe they won't still be reeling from losing their coach, and many players, but I doubt it.
One of the easier schedules of the big xii season. 7 or 8 wins and that’s the floor. The ceiling could be 9 or 10. I’m excited to see how they do sounds like they really hauled in a great recruiting class!

I don't want to sound like a negative Nancy but we were sold a high caliber team last year and the team didn't come close to that. I want them to do all the talking on the field.
Sure and there’s various reasons for that mainly injury, but I get the overall sentiment. I do think the 2024 Tech roster is better prepared at key positions
Yes we had injuries last year but our offensive coordinator didn't call the games very well at times. Also we were sold on Steve Linton being another tyree Wilson and he only had 3 sacks and they all came in the baylor game.. so I want to see them actually start doing things before I drink the kool-aid.
@@jamesharrison2354 I was frustrated by Kittley at time too, but content is key. Morton didn’t practice much at all during the season, the OL and WRs were bad or injured. Not trying to make excuses because this year is no doubt a big deal

Heavy optimism but i think if we go to arizona and beat them on the road we will be in talks as a dark horse playoff team especially with it expanding to 12 teams

@@raleighsanford5111 agreed. We need more “culture wins,” Wyoming should have been a win. If we aren’t 5-0, then our culture isn’t fully developed. We need to win the obviously winnable games in order not to be labeled a typical Big 12 team.
I think I might be sipping a tiny bit on the kool-aid but that schedule looks favorable. I have us at 8-4, losing to OSU, Arizona, TCU, and one other between ISU, WVU, and CU. If we fire Kittley though, we go undefeated 😂
Yeah I think I probably went with leaning towards the positive outcome more than negative. I think 8-4 should be the expectation, but 9-3 is where I’m at in terms of my early prediction if that makes sense

Joey went a bit beyond expectations in year 1 but under produced in year 2, year 3 will be somewhere in the middle around 8-4 and the Alamo Bowl
I think they have the potential to be better than either year with McGuire as HC. That said if injuries are a problem again that goes out the window
