Have no idea what to think about the team this season. Fede is tall, but i dont think he can shoot....he will struggle scoring even inside. It's gonna be "hack-a-fede" time for lots of teams late in games. Probably be unplayable late.

We got some talent I think

I didn’t know basketball was getting so close No doubt this team is loaded and has higher expectations but the biggest issue last year was the lack of rebounds clean that up and it gives them the chance to win more games in an absolutely loaded big 12 that’s tough to win every night

This team is a final monday team

The 4 thru 8 guys ate as good as it gets. Versatile, experienced, and they fit together very well. No drop off in guys coming off the bench.

Tech should not disrespect any team on our schedule. We have not dominated any opponent other than NT. Any of our games could have been lost with a single bad bounce. By definition we will be a contender as long as we continue to win. We will lose if we over look any opponent and quit improving our game. Enjoy Tech football. Our season is next week.

Possibly. But, it's important to remember that your team needs not Only to be built to win in a Conference......but, they need to be built to win / compete @ a Very Respected level in the Post Season.

By virtue of our record alone we’re in the conversation. I’d be more convinced if you could separate in some of these games but I’ll take it. The fight they’re showing is a beautiful thing and that makes us dangerous.

Big 12 football is getting to be like Big 12 basketball, anybody can beat anybody on any given day. A telling comment on another site from a TT "fan"; "they are 5-1 and I still don't know if they are any good".....come on people, just what DOES it take to be "good". A win is a win is a win, you don't have to have a 50-7 score to be good. Of course, they can get to Arlington, they can also just as easily lose 3 of those games and end up 6-6. This is the BIG 12 ! Have fun with it.

We just need to worry about the next game-Baylor. The minute we stop focusing on the very next game will be when we lose the opportunity

The reason I think they are is because who can you argue is better than them? I’m not saying that they are significantly better than Iowa State, BYU, Colorado, Utah or teams like that. What I’m saying is that they are def good enough to beat those teams, and Tech has been great in close games under Joey. I’ll bet on Tech if it’s a one score game with those teams

Anyone replying with a N is not ginving some serious thought to how the team js playing RN. Not weeks ago..RN. we have a shot at this.

With the way the season is turning out, I absolutely believe Texas Tech is a Big 12 title contender. Of course not every game left in the schedule is gonna be perfect, but being 5-1 makes this discussion valid and have us wondering if Texas Tech can make it to Arlington. I first predicted to finish with a 9-3 and a bowl game win (also one more W til we go bowling!), I honestly think 11-1 is within reach, I'd be really pumped if tech can pull it off better than my season prediction. We made our statement in Arizona, now lets make a statement in the Big 12.

It would most likely be a close race with Iowa state, BYU, and Texas tech. Texas tech then has the bye week this week and then at home against Baylor, going to Fort Worth to play a not very good Tcu team and then playing in Ames against Iowa state. Iowa state is the only real threat in Texas techs remaining schedule

Could they end up in the CG? Most certainly they could...I wouldn't be hugely surprised. Are they the best team in the Big 12? Absolutely not.

95% of the Kittley bitching is PlayStation syndrome. Fans spent the summer dropping 60 on everybody, always dialing up the touchdown play, and then they think that’s reality. Bottom line is we are objectively one of the best offenses in the Big 12, despite some OL issues. Hell of a job ZK, this is why schools like Miami and Auburn were trying to outbid us for him.
