This really helps a lot. I am working as an assistant and my dentist is freaking sensitive and prickly. I made mistake with suctioning today and I almost pee my pants bc she throws my suction and change me over. I hope I can do better tomorrow. I had thought to quit this job bc I can't stand her attitude but I wish to improve my skills first.
OMG the dentist today told me I almost hit her with the suctioning as I was passing etching bonding etc I swear I didn't realize it, I thought I was doing ok she told me if I hit her I will walk away...I guess meaning I'll get fired 😬😌 I thought of quiting today Lord have mercy!
Great video, My friend went to the dentist to have #14 extracted. During the sectioning, the bur fell out of the drill and he aspirated the bur. It ended up in his right lung and had a five hour surgery with a wedge section. He is now short of breath and fears the loss of a section of the lung will lead to future health issues. He is a farmer who works alone in the crop and cattle business.
Was a dental assiant for fifteen years. Lowest distal position of the tooth. Some assistance almost suck the tonsils, cheeks and lips of patients with the High Volume or Power Evacuator. Great career.
If the operator is working on the lower lingual surface would you still place the evacuator on the buccal? And how often to suction the saliva pooling in the back. Thanks really helpful vid 🙌
Best one ive seen
Suctioning is my biggest struggle and its the most important using these tips at my internship tomorrow
I feel ya girl

Great video
excellent video

You are showing 3 handed dentistry- The assistant has 2 hands and should be utilizing BOTH hands!
It’s only hard when the Dr wants to be picky. They might as well help themselves!!!
nice
I am agreeing with raniya ali
