Your description is proof the people who marketed it should be fired. There was literally a single twitter account doing more to promote the movie than Paramount ever did.
I saw this in Theatres since i was actually quite excited ever since the first trailer dropped because of what i saw in it. After watching it it immediately became my favourite Transformers movie.
@mulerobinson2639 💀💀💀💀 to be quite clear it wasn't really the jokes in the trailer that had me excited but everything else in it did. Also attacking me literally only for a subjective experience of my own is pretty childish i would say.
@@mulerobinson2639 nice try hiding your previous reply i saw it. It was shit anyways so it doesn't matter. This reply is just as shit and trash though. I literally stated on my reply that the humour wasn't what i was excited about in this film. Motherfucker the whole "minor" thing is literally a fucking meme the community made are you actually serious? The movie is not about fricking minors in any way shape or form lmfao.

@@mulerobinson2639 bro just give up already at this point all the arguments I've seen from you suck so fucking hard and now you're actually pulling out bullshit from your ass. And if you don't stop keep fucking coping and cry me a river about how im a child for liking the best movie in the franchise.
Paramount truly failed this movie during its theatrical run in cinemas because the trailers and marketing truly did not do this fantastic movie enough justice. This movie is arguably the *BEST TRANSFORMERS MOVIE MADE* and everything from the animation, the story/world-building, the music, the action and choreography, and of course, the great voice acting truly made this my favourite movie of the year. I especially have to give praise to Chris Hemsworth and Brian Tyree Henry's excellent performances as Optimus and Megatron as they really embodied both their respective characters so well and made you genuinely believe Orion and D-16's friendship and how close they were. Still, the moment the truth is revealed to them, both their perspectives have changed but in different directions. As you can understand, both of their beliefs, but the tragedy of their downfall is all the more heartbreaking. You feel how much emotional pain and anguish is in D-16's voice as Orion tries to stop him from killing Sentinel and Orion was desperately trying to save his brother from making a choice he could never come back from. I believe Orion also wanted Sentinel to be punished for his crimes, but by standing trial against Iacon and all the people who he betrayed, he would no doubt get the punishment he deserved and would've likely been imprisoned or killed, but at least it would've fair and just to the people of Cybertron he worked to death for generations. Orion could tell D was going down the same cycle of death and vengeance that Sentinel created since he, too, was resentful and hated the Primes for how they failed to end the war with the Quintessons; thus, Sentinel chose to take the cowards way out and work with the Quintessons at the cost of killing the Primes and selling out his entire race just so he could live the good life and become a deluded tyrant who will do anything to keep his lies in tact; thus D-16 becomes just like Sentinel since we see D become Megatron, betray his own brother at arms, become a ruthless twisted tyrant, create a war on Cybertron that pits its people against each other and ravages the planet until it comes a dystopian husk of a dead world. Its genuinely remarkable how this movie's origin recontextualises almost every form of Transformers media, giving audiences a deeper understanding of why Optimus and Megatron are enemies, how the Autobots and Decepticons began, what led to the Civil War on Cybertron, and so much more. We desperately need a sequel because one guy on Twitter did more promotion and sold this movie better than Paramount ever did. A story this good deserves a trilogy and regardless of the box office results the amount of overwhelming love from both critics and audiences, hopefully this influences Paramount to give this movie the sequel it deserves
11:05 to answer your question i believe so😅. It depends on the continuity of course but they have procreated both with Cybertronians and in some instances with people mostly in the comics i believe
Just out of curiosity, if one of your reaction spots gets opened, have you considered watching Transformers Prime? I know you usually watch anime and stuff, but seeing how you like Transformers, I think it might be a good option. It's a mature series with excellent writing, likable human characters that don't take up the whole series (they still there, but only are the main focus of like the first few episodes and a small percentage going throughout), and S-tier fights. Its a well received show, and I Think you'd like it as well.
Sentinel prime here is the reason why this movie was almost NOT for children😂 If you think about, how gruesome the things he's done actually were. (Children can still watch it, not trying to be overdramatic)😂
If you haven't watched it yet, I would recommend 'Transformers: Prime' considering it is unanimously agreed as the best show in the franchise. Btw the music composer for One is also in Prime.
They intentionally made first trailer for kids and second trailer for us fans, but sadly they underestimate that first impressions matter and suffer from it.
Your worries, I think, conveys both the problems with the marketing and the problem with the audience. The marketing WAS bad, but it wasn't as bad as so many people make it out to be. I looked at it and immediately thought "huh, not sure how this one's going to turn out. I like some of what they're showing. But other bits..." So I resolved to check out a few of the reviewers I trust with subject matter like this. And when they said "it's good" I made sure to check it out in theaters (and enjoyed it). If you're deciding whether or not to check out a movie ONLY based on the trailer you're being a little silly.
@Blackrugrats a very good comedy anime, dare I say the best comedy anime there is, very popular in the manga world and the anime did it pretty good justice.
@Blackrugrats main premise-wise, a dude moves to his uncles diving shop near the ocean to attend college nearby, it's a very funny and relatable anime.
Your description is proof the people who marketed it should be fired. There was literally a single twitter account doing more to promote the movie than Paramount ever did.
Transformers One is a prime example of how good marketing is just as important as a good movie.
45:16 that was a reference to the original 1986 movie when he did that pose

I understand you. The trailers didn't give justice to this movie.
48:32 My heart sunk in this. 😢
In the transformers lore. Elita One is Optimus Prime's girlfriend. Hope we can see that dynamic in the next movie.
@mulerobinson2639 so he should be called Optical Prime because being optimistic is a emotion trait. All sentient beings have emotions.
@mulerobinson2639 ohh yeah I agree tbh. Just messing people up lol but if there are relationships I am fine with it
Fate is a cruel mistress:
Megatron: “We were brothers once.”
Optimus Prime: “Once….”
