Like we said in the description guys, Evolve has very little story. We posted this for those of you curious to see how the story aspect plays out, but in all honesty the story is almost nonexistent. It does have some very nice cutscenes, but there are only a couple of those. The game is mainly a multiplayer game, and in that arena, it really shines. Game should process to 1080p soon!
+Gamer's Little Playground this is NOT all cutscenes since u didn't show cutscenes such as:ebonstar ally,cargo ship,colonists,clear skies,teleport gates,etc
I loved how this game gave the characters dialogue between each other it was a great way to characterize them without interfering with game play. They should have also done it when you where hunting for the monster since you could get more of the characters and it would make the chasing seem less boring.
Damn, right! Between the varied hunters, the monsters and their rapid evolution, and the Patterson Field equations, there is plenty in Evolve for a compelling action movie plot. I'd watch the hell out of that.
Yes and the monster goliath is a good guy because he is the best monster ever he's like godzilla but small and strong and godzilla's a good guy so goliath will be a better a good guy monster
im pretty sure that in the end the cutscene where hunters win they're just holding off until their own dropship comes in and saves them, as they're all in one area near a cliff so a dropship can hover next to the cliff and make a speedy getaway
FPS NubScrub yeah the good end I think they end up surviving while the colonist leave the planet or the hunters kill all monsters before they kill them and make a quick get a way
And I think Hank would have an orbital strike waiting for them alongside with the rest of the team using all their mines, traps, grenades and any other gimmicks as soon as they need to and are about to be overwhelmed.
According to the conversations between the original 12 hunters and the eight DLC hunters the DLC hunters were encountered after spending some time on shear And since the evacuation only lasted for five days it would be logical to assume that The original 12 hunters were the only ones present during those five days during evacuation mode and then afterwards they stuck around on shear to try and save as many more people as they could and met the eight DLC hunters in the process
28:40 I just can't believe the colonists left the hunters there. They helped them escape the planet. The least they could have done was take the hunters with them once the ship was ready to leave. Also, didn't the hunters have their own ship they could have called down?
If you pay attention to the conversation between the original 12 hunters in the ATL see hunters they survive this ending they somehow managed to last long enough for Their Dropship to swing by and get them out of there and then they stuck around on the planet to save more colonists and met the 8 DLC hunters in the process
@@grigori9061 i wouldn't put it past them if the hunters just told the colonist to bugger off: "yeah thanks for saving us after you left us to die. especially since we saved you from becoming monster chow"
Yeah, they really didn't seem like they were winning at all... Hardly seems fair to them now doesn't it? They'll probably be fine anyway, they're the best hunters in all of the galaxy!
Gage Proctor That ending seems pretty stupid to me. Why did all the hunters, including the boss stay on the infested planet when they could've just got back on their own ship and flew away with everyone else.
This game should’ve spawned a franchise series. I played this Day 1 on both PC and PS4. It suffered from the same issue as the first Titanfall, “Pure Multiplayer Experience.”. Evolve would’ve benefited greatly from a single player campaign. Would’ve increased replay ability. Add multiplayer rewards gained from single player as well as episodic dlc when new monster or hunters are introduced and we would be awaiting the debut off Evolve 2.
This looks like a terrific multiplayer experience! I can't WAIT to buy this game! 😁 Thanks for posting what little story there is. But honestly, I didn't expect there to be much of one anyway. This is all about kicking ass & taking names, period. It's not gonna be some story-driven "The Last of Us" experience. If anyone was looking for that....tell 'em to go watch a movie! lol As for Me, I'm just ready to kick some monster ass! OR, Hunter ass, since I look forward to playing as the monsters too!
While watching this, I was expecting it to turn out that the hunters were the villains and the monsters were the heros. Like maybe the colonists they're working for were actually draining the planet of it's resources and disrupting the wildlife, and the monsters were just defending themselves.
Maybe some monsters could be friendly....... Yes having monsters as an ally would be one thing but their are many possible ways of what could happen but having a behemoth or an elder kraken would be badass😎😎😎
+Andres Tell that's not true, it is possible that hunt mode suggests the dropship and the hunters are still alive and looking for a way out of the system [whats the point in defending the generator otherwise?]
Has anybody else thought about that maybe the monsters aren't aggressive but merely provoked into attacking protecting young or territory or something? Not that I'm saying that they are its just a theory? 😂😂😂 but any ways the hunters were just retaliating protecting themselves? Never-mind I'm probably over thinking it by a mile😂😂😂
They literally appeared out of nowhere and started eating people and wreaking shit because they can. Nothing provoked them they're just things that eat because they want to wreak someone's shit up.
800 thousand possible combinations. How can that me? This game was popular for a few months and then went into obscurity because people didn't really want to play a game that looked promising but was mainly a PVP game like Titan Fall 1. Sure we like PVP but we like it as an option not the focus. Some games were completely ruined and got bad reviews because they made the campaigns garbage to get people to play their scummy pay to play garbage pvp.

Cheers friend, was wondering if any story even existed for this game. Thanks for making it easier for me to find it.
Gamer's Little Playground this is more like a gameplay demo
I loved how this game gave the characters dialogue between each other it was a great way to characterize them without interfering with game play. They do
An evolve movie would be great.

Patrick Morris Or comic
Yes and the monster goliath is a good guy because he is the best monster ever he's like godzilla but small and strong and godzilla's a good guy so goliath will be a better a good guy monster
@@philanselmoparducho1176 you mean our big scaly monster deterrence
I'd like an Evolve series covering the whole timeline.
Edit (addition): Including how and why every monster knows who Patterson is.

Bucket was not driving the ship so he couldn't get them out of there
bucket's with them fighting so he cant pilot their dropship
he can do both things at the same time while also analyzing Caira sample and preparing dinner menu. It's lore.

They could of made a killer movie with all the aliens and hunters. it not even live action just cgi this would make a really good movie.
I was just thinking the same thing. CGI plus all the voice actors for the Hunters would be real neat.
I thought the same thing a couple minutes before I read this comment. If a movie like this is done well then it'll be amazing
FatalJapan if it's not fucked like the other game based movies...
Let's hope that they all survived at the end battle where they were killing the monsters forwards the end of the video.
Yeah, they really didn't seem like they were winning at all... Hardly seems fair to them now doesn't it? They'll probably be fine anyway, they're the best hunters in all of the galaxy!
Yeah well some of the best hunters always die. Just like every one else.

Hermann Kateri ultimate sacrifice maybe... stupid indeed
Hermann Kateri They were stalling for time so the ship filled with civilians could refuel and escape the planet. There were thousands on board.
Like all the work you have done I can say it was fantastic watching this edited film.
Adam Luk mhmm
Being honest. I find the endings having little difference. Both have that "You don't have enough bullets" motif. Only 1 of them shows then dying.
I guess they win by transporting colonist , even if the hunters still die anyway
Gotta love Griffin and Hyde
In both endings of monster edition and this the hunters will still be outnumbered I didn't knew lol
This Game Was The Shit!
Godamn it had an interesting story behind it and all the characters and monsters looked so badass...

I miss you Evolve

So the hunters all die at the end anyways? Huh..
this game sure does look fun, i sure do hope its playable and doesnt require me to look for people to play with personally instead of just matchmaking
Where's daisy in the beginning?
I know this ain't gaming relate but can u make a tutorial on how to make your intro
This would make a pretty cool movie.
I'm rooting for the monsters.
Another piece of creativity with great potentials destroyed by mindless greed for profit
This game deserves a second chance to be excellent
Hear hear
song beim trailer??
Tank you

do you know many friendly wild tigers?
it's the same principle
So they get screwed over in both versions
If I saw the colonist ship fly away I be like: wait 4 me assholes! -flew away already- hey fuck those guys !!!! W
+Andres Tell that's not true, it is possible that hunt mode suggests the dropship and the hunters are still alive and looking for a way out of the system [whats the point in defending the generator otherwise?]
yeah kinda. either they're stuck on the planet where likely hood of survival is low. or they fail their mission and they all die and the colonists die
why all of this not shown in the pc?
You'd think in this ending the Hunters would have a drop pod to pick em up after the ship got away.
but no either the stupid reason is they decided not to leave or the colonists just ditched them to save their own skin.
Nest mode was awesome
Game should of been free2play from the start and make dlc and add ons
Is it just me, or does griffin look like captain price from call of duty?
So, in each ending, it seems like the Hunters die.
Kinda too bad...
Has anybody else thought about that maybe the monsters aren't aggressive but merely provoked into attacking protecting young or territory or something? its just like cancer man, it appeared out of nowhere and started wrecking shit
is there actually 800 000 possibilities?
this is not cutscenes this is all gameplay
it has little story and cutscene
I think this game could have succeeded if they made the monster ai instead of making it pvp
Why did i feel a little bad for the Goliath at the beginning?
Lord Zonar because he was like stage 2 and was not prepared for the fight. an inevitable death
Jesus... thay were wrecking those monsters
All hail the kraken !!!!!!
Most of them were stage one with no armor, had those been Stage 3, would have been a different story
SHIELD. USE MARKOV'S SHIELD! : (((((
Haha yea that was some messy Markov, looked like a new player

Even the hunters do win but their still out numbered by level 1 2 3 monsters
Lol both ending are dead XD
boy, downed by wildlife? shame
What a bad player. Rookie mistakes throughout. And what about the monster's version of the story?
K
Evolve? More like dissolve. This game was horse dung crapping out crocodile dung.
I wanted cut scene not gameplay, unhappy, very unhappy
