Those look beautiful. I'd love to have my Wolverine 1000 Mile Boots done exactly like that. The only thing I would do differently is cut a channel for the stitching. I know the lugs help keep the stitches up off the ground, but cutting a channel just protects them more, even when the lugs have worn down. That's just my personal preference. Really great work.

que opinas de hacer un surco en la zuela para que la costura no quede expuesta al desgaste con el piso?
Te voy a contestar lo mismo que ya conteste a más de 20 personas que me preguntan lo mismo.
Te interesa que la suela esté bien y no se despegue,o se caiga o te interesa que no se te rompa el hilo?
Obviamente que si abres canal va a durar más (EL HILO) no necesariamente la suela, cuando el hilo se revienta lo que detiene la suela es
#1 el pegamento
#2 el hilo que está entre el cerco, la entre suela y la suela actuando como pequeños clavos, es por eso que jamás vas a ver botas americanas de marcas como

Wesco
White’s
Nicks por mencionar algunas y eso es por la misma razón que te acabo de mencionar.
No estoy diciendo que esté mal hacer canal, para nada pero lleva un costo extra y como
mencione no es indispensable hay uno que otro zapatero que lo hace, yo no a menos que sean suelas de piel esa es otra historia, repito no está mal, simple y sencillamente no lo hago por que en botas de este tipo no es necesario, saludos y espero aya contestado tu pregunta.✋🏻✋🏻✋🏻👊👊

Acabo de recoger mis botas wingshooter que llevé a red wing a ponerles suela nueva, claro eso fue antes de encontrar su canal 😅 y a parte de eso les dije que quería la supersole. Anda que después voy viendo el video de como las reemplaza jajaja nimodo, ojalá me duren.

Why do you replace the welt so often? It’s cool to see how you do it but I thought it wouldn’t be necessary unless damaged. Enjoy your work and videos.
Thanks Paul,first because costumer asks and pays for it to be done , I’ve said it several times we don’t replace welts just because we want to, it’s actually the opposite and that’s because it takes us 2 extra hours on a 5 to 6 hours project if you pay attention you’ll notice that the welt the boots come with it’s “brown “
And the one I put it’s black, and again that’s what the costumer asked for!!
Every time we can re use the welt we absolutely do it trust me,thanks for watching Paul I appreciate it!!!!🍻
