Long time DW main here, wow, she's changed so much throughout the years but I still love playing her, I love her, I love her design, I love her skins, I think her followers are adorable, she's just perfect. Yes, DW is challenging to learn at first, all I can tell the newbies to her is you NEED to let go of your ego/fear of survivors and just accept the fact you're going to be losing a lot at first. Get comfortable surrendering for a while. Focus on learning her movement and abilities first and getting comfortable switching and keeping track of leeches in customs against bots, then focus on mastering ties, then try to progress to wins. The thing about Dream Witch is that she's a hunter that will reward the player if the player has skills, don't expect her to carry you if you aren't willing to put in the work. That's why even though DW's place in the meta has certainly changed and fallen a bit, you still see insanely good and dedicated DW players like DongX getting clean 4ks with her in COA.

I learning to main her for since season 13 and i think the hardest part of playing dream witch is main body and leech placement, messed up and you will need to re-placement again and will get cipher rushed to dead so if you guy want to learn how to play: Go to practice mode and make it familiar with switching between leechs Find your best persona, watch pro-play to know which persona is suitable for you LEARNING HOW TO BLINK, switch to blink is your strongest stage in one match do not mess up My little secret to counter rescuer in big map is only take Detention bring flash + impulsive + max out control freak + berserker ( super risky cuz you don't have enough point for trump card )

1:13 Woah! I see what you're doing here , You using emote to trick fm dancer to think that you're breaking the music box for you to going for a terror shock but she rescue before you hit em'? Correct me if i'm wrong but that's a great trick!
Another trick you can do with this emote at endgame is if you find the primed cipher, switch your trait, and use the emote to make them think you switched to abnormal, but you actually switched to blink. Forces them to pop it :)
The leeches aren’t in order of who you leech first/last, they’re in order of the placement on the top right of the screen during a match. So for example, Perfumer, Coordinator, Mechanic, Antiquarian, if I leeched Mechanic, she wouldn’t be Leech1, she’d be leech3 since she’s on the 3rd spot of the top right placement

For first kite should i focus on mainly trying to down the first target or should i try to keep pressuring all the other survivors off their ciphers? 5.) Are there any maps you think Dream Witch is "good" or "bad" on? Like are there maps where she excels at? Or is it just smaller or larger maps mainly?

I get my early hit with spawn, you should only hit with leech when it’s the only follower you have around after your target, I say this since if leech and spawn is near, you can hit them with spawn. If it’s a terror shock situation, it doesn’t matter as well as if they’re on half health and about to go down. Personally when pallet mind gaming, I use leech to instill fear. 2.) For Dream Witch, I run Patroller first, then I switch to blink, usually around 2/3 ciphers, but if there is a primed cipher, I switch to abnormal and abnormal with main, or if it’s a large map and I already have people down, but not enough leeches I use teleport, to get people off gates and send out leeches, for build, detention, trump card, full hunt (it’s towards insolence) then the rest berserker 3.)You should move spawn follower away, so it can follow faster 4.) For first kite, you want to focus on your target, since Dream Witches first chase is very important, then after pressure ciphers, since that’s what she excels at. 5:) Generally, she’s good on smaller maps like Ever sleeping, with less pallets and more open spaces, along with red church.

well not really, if you have good map control it can be a tie minium
That's not true, Dream Witch is a hunter where you can mess up and still very much take the game back by sheer overwhelm.
Also honestly, a lot of DW's kills tend to happen after all ciphers are done, she cleans up at endgame.

yup! it also works well on survs who are coming in for the rescue when the survivor on chair is about to reach half!

That’s okay! Just remeber on the wheel it’s not which you leech first, I can make a video explaining it!
