It's fucking amazing. I played it alot when it first came out when I was a kid, and I've never seen another game quite like it with 3D destructible cities and playing as huge monsters with the amount of freedom it gave you.
The game is available on the ps4 store if you have a ps4. While I do recommend this game, keep in mind that the gameplay and the AI's tactics will take some getting used to, as the AI will constantly try to get the advantage over you by roaming around after health pick ups, jumping, climbing, or flying high above you, and constantly finding weapons that can stun lock you to get in cheap shots. Once you master the controls and the camera, and learn how the AI works, you'll have a blast destroying environments, beating up monsters, and unlocking content and mini-games to play with your friends.
What if instead, it was a Netflix anime focusing on Ultra-V and a young boy who is the son of the lead engineer who built Ultra-V and the boy spends time bonding with Ultra-V as he is along for the ride with battling the other monsters? Kind of like the Iron Giant in the Monsterverse if both films were directed by Hayao Miyazaki.

I figured the weapon that defeated the aliens in the intro kinda backfired a little.
