- Lucky to those who were on field reserve, these Philippine based flight attendants were able to watch the Ms. Universe 2018 on TV where Catriona Gray of the Philippines was crowned as Ms. Universe. Here were their reactions when Steve Harvey said "Philippines!"

Joy Dela Cruz USA is a pageant powerhouse and they have a developed economy. Why are they still joining pageants? You can develop a state by strengthening its economy but you can never erase the culture that they’re living.

Just like other countries in Asia ,Japan, Korea, Singapore , China they are not into beauty pageant but they are into economic pageant. As you said it's a culture. The Miss Universe 2018 was the best ever in it's history. Nothing compares and I think will take a long time to surpass it. Catriona set the bar in another level. Filipinos were so proud of her!
Arguably, the best airline crew in the world are Filipinos! very attentive and always have a genuine smile on their faces. Filipino hospitality at its best! I hope airline companies around the world compensate them more for their hardwork. Mabuhay! I love the quality of planes they have, both Melbourne and Sydney to Manila. New planes you can be very proud of but ultimately, Filipino pilots have the most smooth landings compared to Qantas, but that's just my opinion. Mabuhay PAL aircrew and Filipino cabin crews around the world!

Qantas are racist. I got a bad experience from them flying to Queensland back in 1991. Their cabin crew were just plain rude to our all Asian group. Hopefully it's changed since then but back then, it was really horrid. Never will fly with that airline again.

Roberto III Gianzon I am not surprised as until now, you’ll hear and see videos of vile Aussies here and there from time to time towards non whites or non English speakers. Air New Zealand crew is way better than Qantas in my own opinion. But Filipino crew, PAL or not, is simply the best. They’re genuine.

On my flight to Cebu, I literally went to the ground staff and was like.. 'Do you know about catriona?' And he was like 'of course!' Hahaha i wish i could have spent more time in PH

I loved flying Cebu Pacific. Love the Philippines!! Love the people, the food, the nature... everything. I met a wonderful family in Boracay many years ago and I still keep in contact with them. They invited me to their hotel room when the room I booked in the same hotel wasn’t ready. So nice...I must email them.
