+drewzdrew27 As we have seen we need to be very careful with the decoder, especially with the tiny wires. You were lucky only one wire at a time separated, if two or more wires had separated at the same time, you would have been shit up the creek. Leave plenty of wiring to the decoder, and never ever pull or tug them. If you are a novice to soldering, practicing soldering wires first is a good idea before tackling a decoder.
