My BuJo is actually the opposite of tiny, and I know that us A4 users are a rare breed (maybe it's just me? ahem), but...would you ever consider making an "ideas for gigantic notebooks for you super extra weirdos" video? I get it if that's a bit too niche, but watching you go ham on a huge notebook would make me so excited!
I currently use two of these tiny journals 😀 I really love the pocket size! One is my reading journal, I like recording the books I read, but I don’t have a ton of comments so the small size fits me perfectly. The second is my travel journal, so much handier to bring a tiny journal on a trip! In the past I also used one for a “December daily” art journal project, again the small size was perfect for a quick daily creative session!
A6 Leuchterm user here!!! 🎉 I use my notebook with a calendar, weeklies, then daily pages, with commonplace pages scattered throughout (but recorded in the index!). I love mini notebooks! They’re the best! ❤
I moved into a pocket traveler’s notebook and field notes and I LOVE IT!!! my Bujo journey started in A6 so I am more or less back to my roots 😅 Thank you Jess for the inspiration ❤
Such great ideas and well executed. Here are some other ideas. How about a vehicle maintenance log, small and easy to keep in the car. Or maybe a medical notebook, easy to take to tests or doctor appointments. 😮oh or a holiday notebook to track with lists 🎁 ideas and 🛍 needs . Now see what you did! My flood gate is open now too!😅😂

So many great ideas!! I am using one of my mini notebooks as a catch-all notebook, so it looks very similar to this with just all kinds of spreads. I love it! I think these little notebooks are also perfect for tracking medical things. As an example, I make spreads to track my blood sugar! Getting to decorate those pages and make them all pretty also makes them much less daunting for something that is medically necessary for me to keep track of. Also, I was NOT expecting to see my video listed on your common placing page! 😂 definitely gave me a little ego boost ❤

I'm using one of the Vintage Library books (the lined A6) to record song lyrics I particularly like. I'm going through my playlist and copying my favorite lyrics from each song, along with any comments I have on why it resonates with me, or what I remember along with the song.
I've set up my November spread in my A6 notebook. After spending time in my older cheaper passport size notebook, i realize that my journaling preference is vertical so i divide each page into 2 columns. What amazes me is the astounding variety of trackers you designed. I look forward to seeing more in the future. I also found a way to decorate with slim washi tape and tiny stickers.
I like these ideas. I'll also be goung smaller for next year, to a B6. I'd love to see layout ideas for that size too, but i might also steal some of these 😊
I've decided earlier this year to switch to A6 when I finished my current notebook. I don't like bigger notebooks because I takes me sooo much time to use them completely (I usually drop my BuJo practice a few months every year and I don't take so much notes, as I keep my work load very separate). I will be starting the A6 for the new year. In the meantime, I've been playing with Excel to make a template with the right grid-count to start and plan my layouts. I've also been using an A6 for a Reading Journal this year, and I find it really fun and low resistance to journal for half a page for each book I read.

There were 2 tiny journals in the September A&O subscription box. I'm using the lined one as a swatch journal, working my way through my many pens, pencils, markers, brushes, then eventually I'll add samples of my many washi tapes. For the other book, I'm considering using it for a travel journal next time I travel, or possibly a pocket commonplace book. After seeing this video, though, I'm intrigued by the idea of using it for a recipe book.

I currently use an A6 Nuuna as my EDC bujo, and I do a weekly/daily hybrid spread with a narrow (1/3 page approx) horizontal weekly view, like a hobonichi weeks, and a mini tracker, and then use the rest of the space as daily logs. If it’s going to be a big week for tasks or things I might want to journal about, I’ll create a vertical dutch door.
This was super useful, especially now that I have the 2 new pocket notebooks from the Sept A&O sub box. I don’t know if maybe you already one but I’d love a similar video for Traveler’s Notebooks 😅
I have already decided I'm switching to a B6 for my bujo next year, and I'm so excited to see this video with so many good ideas! I'm itching to get into it. I have been using a big 8x8 A&O, and i was comparing it to the A5 that came in the vintage library box, and felt like the A5 is too thick for my taste. I'm also a little excited to use 2 books a year, instead of just one. I do love a full notebook!
I use small notebooks for taking knitting notes. I record all the project details like the name of the yarn and how to care for it, needle size, specific details so I can make things match (i.e. both socks in a pair), people's sizes, etc. They're great because I can pop them in my knitting bag.
Love the contact paper wipe board idea! Does the marker transfer over to the opposite page when you shut your book? I suppose I could just cover both pages with the clear contact paper and not worry about it 👍🏼

I recently got an A6 notebook and was thinking of using it for my next daily bujo since my current one is almost full. But considering that my current one is a B5 I decided that was way too much of a size change. I'm not sure what I'm going to use it for, so thank you for more ideas!
i have an a6 notebook which i try to have on or by me all the time, for various notes & ideas that come to me, i think when it's full i might try combining it & my normal bujo together in another 16 notebook would you feel up to doing this type of video for b6 notebooks?

But I honestly don't know yet, which size I'll use in 2024... BUT one comment here said they use an A6 as Reading Journal an I think this is something I'll take over. It'd be a good lil journal to do that kind thing in 😄 I've also have a bills tracker previously where I logging each monthly bill so I could see how it changed across the year; was quite interesting to see the fluctuations!
I was going to use my B6 for mum, but I’m now using for quotes & memes (I now use an Erin Condren teacher’s checklist book for mum’s medical). My A6 for on the go and erasable pens only.
My last year's bujo (and first) was like this: tiny, easily portable, gray with a cloth texture that I loved. I tried to keep it simple, one color per month for titles, dividers and decoration, just to get used of traking habits and keeping up with tasks and dates. Also, because it was my first bujo, I decided to allow myself to be messy and keep changing things up as I thought were better use (journaling/no journaling, horizontal/vertical weekly spreads, long term things at the back...). Next year I might use a small notebook for daily/weekly things, and a bigger one for long term collections. That is if I don't have space left in this year's bujo and use it for that. PS: I did put a year at a glance in one page on the small bujo and I attest to the numbers being super tiny (2mm) 🤣Not recommended.

Not opposed to it! I don't have any dotted journals specifically which are from a more budget-friendly brand. Were we thinking dotted and cheaper, or lined? Dotted notebooks are tricky to get at lower prices where I am 😝 Glad you liked this one! 💜
I just bought an A6 leuchtturm once (just as a notebook, not as a bujo) and i did not like to use it at all😅 i have a normal sized handwrititing and i felt very, very restricted on each page.
