He repaired the shoes wonderfully yeah its not a “chanel” shoe anymore but in my opinion its better cause more than likely chanel produces these by the thousands through machines, and these were handcrafted with time and care, very precise even with the stitching...new subbie tyfs you did a great job .
When I saw what Vetiver was doing, I knew people were gonna comment on how this "isn't a Chanel shoe anymore", which is true, but I'm sure they spoke with the customer about the deterioration of the shoe and came to this solution together. So it's not like they'd be lying to the customer, and it's not a negative thing that this "isn't a Chanel shoe anymore" because ultimately it's about what the customer wants.
This is an accelerated version of the paradox of the Ship of Theseus.

The shoe is Chanel it was a restoration of the shoe itself nothing used was different if everything was different than you could say it's not a Chanel shoe guess folks don't understand restoration when they see it.
Plus they’re just shoes.

The original has a heel and the sole was brown not white. Thats an important difference imo
And the heel/sole is ever so slightly too short, funny angle!

Но в ролике почему-то мне показалось много несоответствие, то кожа то коже заменитель, то старые фрагменты реставрируються, а потом про них забывают и от старого остаётся только фирменный знак да и то по краям прохо покрашенный......
