If you studied at a university one year and then spent the rest of the years at another university, what should you write the name of the institution from which you completed your basic degree in medicine? If you are registered as a new professional in the Dubai Health Authority, you must write the university from which you obtained your Bachelor of Medicine and Surgery. Correct?

I obtained my Fellowship in Obstetrics and gynaecology from West African College of Surgeons (FWACS). However, during the self assessment , i noticed only only fellowship of West African College of Physicians was highlighting. Eventually i was declared non eligible. My question is does Sheryan take the 2 fellowship as one or is those with fellowship of West African College of Surgeons not eligible to practice in UAE.

Kindly understand that Sheryan is an automated assessment tool only. In some cases the assessed result may be wrong, specially when you are certain that you fulfill eligibility requirements. You may proceed to manual review or proceed to next step.

Self assessment tool does not ask for more information/documents, only checks your eligibility with basic information, but you will asked for all these documents during Dataflow PSV.

Hello. I have a query
I have completed my Mbbs in 2011 and completed my FCPS training in dermatology in august 2019. I have cleared part 2 in sept 2020. and after clearing exam I have been working in perticular field till now. which is making roughly 3 years experience minus 1-2 month.
which category should I applied for? specialist or GP? I have checked self assessment for specialist that shows ineligible. should I go for eligibility review?

Hi , I have completed 1 year house job from 3rd September 2018 to 2nd September 2019 and I have more than 2 years experience post house job. Does anyone know what to do because the "self assessment tool " doesn't consider 3rd September 2018 to 2nd September 2019 a whole year ? How can I proceed ? I have applied for manual review but from the that same ID where previously I was marked not eligible by automated self assessment tool, would it be a problem?

There shouldn't be any problem, and that is why manual assesment option is given. Do not make multiple IDs with different email addresses, cause this will create confusion for you.

I was trying to apply for medical laboratory technologist. I looked up in the pdf provided by dha. It says no experience required but when the question was asked ( do you have experience) I wrote no, it says to apply as traine.. when I wrote yes the second attempt, it told me I need 6 month experience. is there something wrong?

Normally once your Dataflow is completed then it is linked with your Sheryan account. One reason for pending status in your Sheryan account could be, if you are trying to connect already approved Dataflow application to DHA from other health ministry.
You can still apply for DHA prometric exam. Eligibility letter is issued once you pass the exam.

Thanks for your comment. We ran the assessment tool keeping the same information provided by you. We only kept India as degree earned country as well as country where gained experience and the result was "You are ELIGIBLE to become a registered healthcare professional as General Dentist."
There is a possibility of discrepancies in provided information for clinical experience country and degree earned country. For example, if a person who earned degree from India and gained clinical experience in USA, then this automated system may declare you ineligible.
Kindly understand this tool is automated and operates keeping in view pre-defined set of rules. Therefore, if you are certain that you are wrongly declared ineligible then you can always opt for manual review with additional cost as explained in this video.

Yes, it is mandatory to have two years clinical experience after house job. There used to be a provisional license for candidates who do not meet experience requirement by the name of 'specialist under supervision' but it has long been scraped.

Hello, I have a query regarding minimum 2 year experience required.
I have done BOT (Bachelor in Occupational Therapy) 4 year course + 6 months internship. I have also completed MOT (Master's in Occupational Therapy) which is a 2 year course. Is there any leverage on the 2 year minimum experience requirement since I have completed my Master's also. I am unable to find this information anywhere.

My brother has passed the prometric exam for medical laboratory technologist
He just applied for the registration and was and the application process was return and was asked to submit a clearer transcript and was told he is eligibility for medical laboratory technician
Why do they want to change him from technologist to s technician when he has passed already the prometric exam for technologist

During Dataflow process, select the option that you already have Dataflow report, select any other additional document for verification, pay the fee and follow on screen instructions during the process.
