To Anyone Wondering: ASA: Angle Side Angle SAS: Side Angle Side RHS: Right Hypotenuse Side SSS: Side Side Side These are used to find wether 2 triangles are congruent or not. Congruent means they are the same shape but they might have unequal dimensions. For example, if a triangle has all 3 sides as 3 cm, then a triangle with all sides as 1.5 cm would be congruent with it because all sides will be divided in same ratio i.e. 3/1.5=2 Here, SSS rule has been used because we have considered only the sides of triangle without using angles. Similarly RHS,ASA ans SAS are used.
Actually, congruence means two triangles are identical, meaning they have the same side lengths and angles! Two triangles that have the same angles but different side lengths would be called "similar" and would indeed have the side lengths in proportion as you described :)
@@smo0ve209SAS means that the angle is basically in between the two given sides, so you have the length of one side, an angle and then the length of other side that touches the given angle if that makes sense😅
Not SSS, we will use RHS here. As RHS is applied when right angle is given, the hypotenuse is equal and any one remaining side given, it can be either base side or the perpendicular.

Hey! I actually printed the pdf of the question out and tried it at home while watching the video, great experience I understand my level of math better now
These terms are the congurency criteria for a triangle. ASA - Angle, Side, Angle SAS - Side, Angle, Side SSS - Side, Side, Side RHS - Right angle, Hypotenuse, Side
Great video! While you got #22 right you had an "easier" route to the right answer after multiplying by 10, 2.33 repeating = 2*1/3 or 7/3, then just divide by 10 again to get to 7/30.
Thanks so much dido for your help not only in this vid but in others, thanks to you in my gcse I got a 9 which I was happy about to say the least, thanks so so much for what you’ve done, keep up the good work champ!❤❤

Used to piss about with my mates, lob pens etc etc (just being knobs and never listening to teachers) but this year i’m trying my hardest to get my grades up!! Been studying very long hours to hopefully get grade sevens or above!! This is very helpful so Thank-you!!
Around 11:40 when you are doing the question about congruent triangles, A stands for angle and S stands for side length. So ASA is angle-side-angle, SAS stands for side-angle-side and SSS stands for side-side-side. RHS is probably just there to throw you off. It's worth mentioning that the order of the letters matters, although I've tried and failed countless times to do it over text. Hopefully someone else can explain that part better than me through writing
the triangle is a right angle so there IS a hypotenuse side. so you are right as in it sort of throws you off, but it is still a possible answer Since RHS stands for Right Hypotenuse Side
Ok so when you are dealing with RHS that means right hypotenuse side. if the hypotenuse and side of one right-angled triangle are equal to the hypotenuse and the corresponding side of another right-angled triangle, the two triangles are congruent.

Did a mock test to prepare for gcses and i did a test just like this on monday but it was foudnation meaning its a bit easier and you can only get a grade 5 maximum conpared to a grade 9 on higher tests
