You are on my most favourite place for storage solutions. I could spend a lot of time wandering around IKEA. My husband is probably very thankful that the closest one is an hour’s drive away. 🤣
Plus. If u get the rattan or “rough” baskets, for sewing or otherwise they scratch the Kallax really fast. Just one downside. Love the idea and the look when they are all pushed in but put felt pads or something else to stop the scratching.
First time viewer here! I have to agree with you. I am always re-arranging my sewing spaces. I don't know what it is. I guess I just get bored and need a new look. Thank you for going through all those containers. I might have to try those first ones you mentioned. 😊
You had me at chocolate! Haha. My stash is a little harder to get to. Thank you for your videos. I used to quilt and I do have cottons that would be good for the smaller storage drawers etc. Now I am mainly sewing in fleece. 2 meters of fleece folded takes up a lot of room. I currently am using some ugly storage shelves but I’m wanting to update to something nice looking. I had thought of having 2 Kallux back to back with a table top for my cutting table. I would be able to roll some of the fleece and store them in the spaces but I still don’t think it would be enough storage for my fabric. Do you have any other IKEA ideas? I like the clean white look of IKEA products. Walking into the room and seeing all of the prints and colours of fabrics make me happy. I wonder why no one will come to the fabric store with me anymore…
I checked in w a friend who stores a lot of cuddle - so similar to fleece. She said it's hard to push it thru Kallax unless it's on a bolt. She recommended totes and tubs because you can squish more in
@@HuntersDesignStudiothanks for getting checking this out for me. I’ve thought of totes. It’s just I am finally setting up a sewing room and would so love to have it easier to access. My customers want to pick out their patterns. With totes I’d have to empty them each time. I may have to get some stain less steel storage shelves.Again thank you for your videos.
I love your storage ideas; however, can you list the names of the items? Or show a clip of them? I don’t have an IKEA nearby and would like to look them up online. It would be so much more helpful!
There's not much point because the price is different in each country. I have the idea app open on my phone while watching & pause the video while quickly looking it up on my app when she shows something I'm interested in. I save it in my Sewing Room project I've created in the app & haveca closer look later on

I wish mine was an hour away. Mine is about a 10min drive from my house. 😉
Mine is about 5-6 minutes away from me! We go almost every week if I’m not too sick to go!
