It's a shame that the american ufo field is mostly viewing things through a western american-centric christian materialist dualistic lens. Einstein didn't seem to think this was a great lens...

I suppose you can't expect any different from a Catholic religious studies professor. Perhaps Jacques Valle's lens of an empirical physics perspective is the way to go right?
