I was in kindergarten when this movie was in theaters back in 1973. I didn't see it until several years later. Great movie! Lots of famous faces!

Back in the day when broads were broads, and they wanted the affection of guys. Ain't like that today, can't even speak to a broad, they'll go off screaming sexual harassment, rape, me to and this times up stuff. Geez.

And it doesn't even have a real plot.

@@rippingtons60 not having any real plot is really just in the eye of the beholder. The real plot is a group of youth ranging from their early to late teens in the valley in and around Modesto, Cal. trying to get the most out of the very last Sat. night before the official start of Autumn. The main two characters, Steve Bolander (Ron Howard) & Curt Henderson (R. Dreyfuss) are both due to head off to college, but Curt still isn't 100 pct. certain he wants to make his early Sunday morn. plane flight and follow through on going onto college, which in turn causes Steve to almost throw a fit warning Curt he should avoid ending up like John Milner, permanently left behind in some dead end small town. Hope it at least offers anyone a little better perspective.

When you get a sec try checking her out in the Clint Eastwood directed film "Breezy" in case you missed it. Last I checked it was still on youtube but lucky me I have it on dvd. She kinda reminds me of my wife in way of her free spirit that she has. But I still love my Breezy much like I love my wife!!!

You are all right, the seniors were also teenagers in the late fifties. Assuming an average age of 17 in 1962 would make them 13 in 1958.

PS. How appropriate was it that his name was Mr. Wolf? Jane was his little lamb for sure.

Strolled down a hallway, tried to break into a locker and walked past youths performing a ritual. Got called by a “teacher” surrounded by minor students and calls them sexy. Went out back to smoke and was told to have an experience only to be disturbed by a student that lead the “teacher” away. Gross

The teacher is messing around with Student Jane ( Kay Ann Kemper / Kay Lenz ) and so he can’t dance with the other girls. He can’t risk getting into trouble. Perhaps Jane is in “trouble” and that’s why she wants to talk with him. 😲 scandalous 1962.

Why would I wanna pay 4 bucks for a movie that's 46 F/N years old. OOPS, silly me, why would I? I already have that, AND the sequel "More American Graffiti" on dvd. Come to think of it, I also have a 2 cd set of all the great music that was featured in the original "AG" flick. 4 bucks? No, I don't think so Jackass. I already have it. Proving once again the GOOD GUYS WON!!! lmfao
