the best band of the past 30 years...so give yourself a big thumbs up for that comment.
thumbs up bro, these guys are killing it best since early 90s no question
The best band in the last 30 years not to have a #1 USA single = Ordinary... explains the stuned mullet crowd.
@@TOM-vq4sj A #1 single is not AT ALL indicative of music quality
You and I are gonna live forever.

Best band ever
Shittest crowd ever
Amen the that 💪🏼
This is OUR AMERICAN FLAVOR, YOU ARROGANT BRIT,! We are not Great Britain, we done have your ways! Just SHUT UP
Sorry pathetic Brit
You too on the latter, ass wipe
shittiest Brits I have ever seen , on here. And I’ve been to the U.K. 6 times!!
American Oasis fan here, when I saw them on what would be their final American tour in 2008, I was the only one in my section who was into the show but everyone else around me were statues. What I would give to have seen Oasis in the UK
or in Argentina..
Stone Temple Pilots at Rolling Rock Fair is a model for good, solid rock crowd behavior
@The Site Well,i think Janis Joplin said the same when she toured Britain. She said they dont get rock n roll.So The Beatles The Who and The Rolling Stones from Britain and were on the rock n roll scene before her didnt get it either?
so i saw noel in austin a few years ago and the crowd was legit, first time ive seen oasis/noel/liam in usa where it was actually like it is supposed to be. people did the double clap during half the world away, sang dlbia chorus, etc. was awesome.
@@Cristian-vm1bg Noel and Liams gigs are like chalk and cheese. This gig here in 2005 resembles a current Noel gig (which is fine if that's your bag). I advise trying to get to a current Liam gig, they resemble the 90s Oasis gigs. banging
I'm an American, a Californian in fact. A fan of British music most of my life, and for the record I was one of the only dude's going nuts jumping up and down, and throwing my hands in the air while seeing the greats. The Bunnymen, Roses, blur, RIDE, and these lads here. What brilliant rock n roll it is!
Yawn 🥱 from the Uk 🇬🇧
@@Jason-Scott there's that British witt thank you Benny hill
What do you mean?@@Jason-Scott
Memo to crowd: You're not supposed to stand perfectly still whilst Liam stands perfectly still, you're supposed to completely lose your shit whilst Liam stands perfectly still. That's the Oasis way
Good said.
Us brits pogo like fk what a buzz! The yanks EH ! DAFTIES
They'd have been better off playing to a morgue
Fucking lost my trainers at an Oasis gig, cos the crowd went mental. The good ole days!!
Oh wow, you weren't exaggerating, they really are just standing there.
Wish these boys would get it back on. A genius songwriter with a genius singer
Yes but with the original line up. I was never keen on this line up. Just didn’t blend as well.
The Gallagher/Gallagher/Guigsy/Bonehead/White lineup was the premier one for me. Gem and Andy we’re technically better musicians than Guigsy and Bonehead but the vibe and the sound were never the same.
@@spoonieAB3 absolutely agree best line by far.
He’s not a genius singer lol, he can’t sing for shit. Hence his voice going before he was even 30
@@ashhqgqg3826 😂😂 deluded
If morning glory didn't get the crowd going nothing will! Everytime I hear it I almost have a heart attack from the pure adrenaline!
Me too lol
Funnily enough, this was Oasis' biggest gig, in terms of sheer attendance, in America, if memory serves....
I wanna say there was over 21,000 ppl at this gig, making it a bigger gig than either of their record-breaking Earl's Court gigs! But, in contrast, check out MSG 2005! Sold out, nearly 18,000 ppl, & the crowd are literally singing so damned loudly that you can barely hear Liam or Noel! Crazy different in their energies, Boston vs NYC.
@@matthewrider5906
Thank ya sir.
I'll do that.
I love a fun crowd
My favorite Oasis Mach I performance of MG is the Knebworth Night #1 version, but the Fairfax/Washington DC '96 version really gives it a run for its money! But Oasis Mach II?! River Plate Stadium version wins BY A MILE!💯
@@Utubin You're very welcome! The Fairfax/Washington DC '98 gig, @ The GMU Patriot Center... Also another great one on UA-cam! Sold-out, all 10,000 ppl pogo-ing their brains out during Be Here Now! If you didn't already know they were in The United States... You'd think it was The United Kingdom!💯
14:22 i thought it wasnt physically possible to stand still while cigarettes & alcohol is playing but this crowd proved me wrong, jesus christ
It's USA... That's why live concerts form South America or some European countries have much better atmosphere than "static" American. Not even mention when on some rock indoor concerts a whole GA is filled by seats. 🤦♂️
To be fair even the band isn't energetic. What do you expect out of the crowd? It's a borderline boring song.
@@cehlers41 they're never energetic on stage tho they just do the songs, watch the show in manchester to see what im talking about
Who has already experienced a concert in Luxembourg? 🤔🤭🤣
@@cehlers41they’re always like this. They have a massive live sound.. so I can’t understand the labile crowd…
this is probably the best-recorded/sonically clear Oasis show on youtube. shame this US crowd didn't mirror the UK energy. but the band was definitely On, this night.
Yeah thats true
Great tunes ! Hope Oasis back soon !!?
@@scottiedog4236 i hope
They seem pretty receptive to me.
they must be deaf.
Zak Starkey on drums! ✌
As an American, I know how hard it is to get active at arena shows where there are seats on the main floor. With that said, both times I saw Beady Eye and NGHFB here in the states at general admission standing gigs, the crowd really got into it and the shows were fantastic.
I can second that. My time seeing them @ The Murat Shrine Auditorium, Indianapolis, 2500 ppl, w/standing-room-only down front, & everyone was pogoing like mad! Saw them in Chicago @ The Chicago Tweeter Center, in front of roughly 16,000 ppl... The smaller gig w/standing-room-only was MILES BETTER, energy-wise.💯
Despite the crowd being absolute shite we should be grateful that this is in such amazing high-quality for 2005
😎😎👍👍🇺🇸🇺🇸
Crowd are fine man.
That's because it's in america and crowds are shit there
What these mugs don't realise is this is one the last opportunities to see one of the greatest bands ever perform live
I'm embarrassed for them.
I've never seen a crowd so lifeless

Noel’s vocals for Don’t Look Back In Anger are absolutely amazing
Esas bandas no pegaban mucho ahí.
@@antoniohoney6733 es como todo, en USA le convenía vender de ellos mismos no de bandas extranjeras, lo mismo que Oasis en Inglaterra.

The way noel looks at liam at the end of songbird shows how much he really loves him
He’s looking at drummer! You don’t get him that easy
I came here just to see another bad American crowd and wasn't disappointed!

What a great album Don't Believe The Truth is! Love this era.
crowd are totally shambles and they performed turn up the sun amazing at this gig. gallagher bros live forever!
The crowds for Oasis in Argentina = Rock and Roll Star, the crowds in America = The Importance of being Idle.
That’s an insult to the top class tune
@@jackgoldsmith5119 No disrespect meant to such a fine tune...in fact, Idle is becoming one of my favorites. More a play on words in this case. LOL
MR2686 Forever ahhh I see now hahaha
Yes, you are correct, Oasis were/are very talented and their music will live on for generations to come.
Best version of Bring It On Down!
'Bring it on Down' is jaw-stopping amazing!
agree..best song of the night
Turn up the sun and bring it on down are up there with the best live performances of those tracks live. 👍✌️👍
If this is Dallas, TX, I was at the gig and I wasn't jumping around either. I was too mesmerized by the Gallagher brothers, a couple of lads from Burnage who had me at "Hello" in 1993. This was the one and only time I ever saw them live. Saw LG in DC a couple of years back and that was nowhere near the same.
I was at the Dallas show too
37:17 Noels absolutely having it
His voice is great here, probably one of the best versions of wonderwall!
I’m actually surprised how good he sounds here considering what he sounded like at Glastonbury 04’ and in Argentina 06’. Noughties Liam generally didn’t sound good after 2002 so quite a surprise.
Damn.. i missed a great band live.. never saw them.. what a great regret that it will never passed over the years.. some people say.. oasis was the modern beatles.. very true.. that melody and songs was a masterpiece..
I was at u2 vertigo tour glasgow hampden park, got a flight next morning to new york watched oasis in madison square garden less than 24 hours later awsome few days ill never forget.
That Songbird song just jams.
Thanks for the best quality!
man, that band was pure swagger.
Yeah.. But Liam's "outfit" here is fucking atrocious

I like Liam's vocals here. Not bad for 2005. This is my favourite Wonderwall performance.
The Importance of Being Idle is so underrated.
Liam and Noel, are great, but Gem and Zak,are perfect as well, one of their best live gigs on UA-cam
I saw this show in Berkeley. It was VERY loud and people were "politely enthusiastic"...
I saw this guys in 2009 in Brazil. I was 17 and it was my first big concert. It was a night I'll never forget.
귀한 영상 감사합니다
In defence of American Fans first off I am Canadian and live near Toronto. We drove to Cuyahuga Falls ? Ohio to see OASIS live! They played at a outdoor Pravillion with Kasabian as the opening act. The crowd was into it and near the end of the show a guy got up on stage walked up and shook Liam's hand then another and another and another.........I have seen OASIS 18 times and this is the one and only time these ever happened that anyone got up on stage much less 12 people! Noel then signed a tour book and threw the pen back into the audience......
Thats awesome! Which tour? I live in the suburbs of Cleveland Ohio and Blossom music center in Cuyahoga Falls is both the summer home of the Cleveland orchestra and is thus considered the Cleveland/Akron stop for major Summer tours, I’ve seen everything from Radiohead to the Who there, but would have loved to seen Oasis. I did see Noel there in 2019. They broke up when I was in 9th grade, wasn’t until 11th grade that they my personal all time favorite band
Easiest event in history for the crowd control staff.
Os caras cantam fácil e transbordam emoção. Têm todo o meu respeito e admiração. Amo mto essa banda!!!
É transbordam emoção mais esse publico transborda apatia
I"m an American and would like to defend the crowd somehow, but they must have come from the School of People Who Are Completely Clueless about Oasis. Good God, if you aren't up and moving with Bring It On Down (one of the band's underrated songs), just go home and listen to Barry Manilow.
Oasis usa
i was clueless then...so clueless i didn't know to go see them! i was seeing only the stones in 2005
Your a genius mate and well said
USA has better drugs is all
Your Mum must be so proud
Best setlist ever. Morning Glory just after Bring It On Down? OH YES
best band to come a long in years
Na stone roses allthe time pissed all over this lot
Got pure adoration and respect for the few I can see in that crowd who are with it, mainly some of the guys toward the front (could see a few during Morning Glory who look like they knew the lyrics and were singing along), but man the rest ARE just statues!
Dont forget that Kasabian and JET played at least 20 songs before Oasis took the stage. Maybe the crowd was tired...I was at the Cleveland show and the crowd got nuts towards the end. It was an incredible tour!
You were at the WHAT???
USA is so L-A-M-E! Anywhere else would be jumping and singing like CRAZY...
Like the rest of the world! Agreed!
They get excited about shooting each other with guns.
Anubhab Dutta calm down mate
I'm guilty. I do the same thing and stand and listen. I don't know what it is - I just don't move to the music. Weird that most of the country is the same.
The whole world is not the u.k. These are not our own boys, like you guys
I'm new to Oasis. I can't belive this band was under my radar for so long. So far I'm hooked up and damn this concert must've been amazing. The start kicks like a mule, fuckin in the bushes followed by Turn Up The Sun. If you are not thumping your leg or headbanging you must be deaf. It gives me off that feeling I recall being on concerts when I was younger. Guitar sound reverbates out to the night sky, your skin crawls, this cute girl you got drunk with, hangs around your arm and you know this night is already amazing and it's only gonna get better.
This concert is made of pure win.
Welcome to the party pal
I come from the future and Oasis still sounds great.
How fabulous when Oasis going to US.
back in 1996 at Knebworth Oasis sold 250,000 tickets in two days, barely 1 in 10 of the 2.6 million applications for tickets were successful. Oasis at Knebworth was the biggest rock event in British history, defining a decade, defining a generation.

Gem guitar on mucky fingers is awsome...absoluty power and energy
Most of that audience looked like they were superglued to the floor.
I think they all came for wonderwall
Lol I love how the nationality of the crowd evidently plays a role to the way they act even though nationality shouldn't matter
It good to see that Noel brought his son, Jesus, to the states...
Noel’s solos are great!
Simplemente no lo puedo creer, lo fans más ásperos que vi en mi vida.
Even The Strokes and The White Stripes only have around 2 million album sales there each, so that tells something. Not to mention selling out The Hollywood Bowl and Madison Square Gardens on their last two tours, pretty impressive for a 'unpopular' band
The crowd is so boring I'm surprised the security guards didn't go home early...
i was at this show. all the rich white folks bought the pricey tickets up front, the venue is a amplitheater with a huge outdoor grass area you cant see in the video. also found it weird that liam looked all indiana jones
@Brian W You're pop-woman
Surprised Liam didnt go home early
There's one guy jumping when they're playing Rock'n roll star, he should have been sorted!
@Brian W
Well that's why the security guards didn't go home early, they had to keep the crowd _in_ 😁
America has high school bands that can actually play their instruments as opposed to this moronic chord bashing.
OASIS IS NO DOUBT ONE OF THE GREATEST ROCK BANDS ON THE PLANET & LIAM IS NEXT LEVEL SWAG ✊🏽🍾💪🏼👏🏽I MET LIAM IN LONDON IN I996 AND WE HE CAME TO NEW YORK CITY IN 2000 TO PERFORM AT RADIO CITY MUSIC HALL HE TOOK ME TO THE CONCERT & IT WAS AN AMAZING EXPERIENCE & I’VE BEEN INSPIRED EVER SINCE 🎼🎵1/23/21-LANCE ROMANCE 😊
Can't generalize. Compare the same tour date in NYC MSG on June 22. It was like being at a football match. Fantastic crowd and perhaps best concert I've ever attended.

Oh god Zac is the perfect drummer for them!!
Saw them on MSG in that tour, for some reason Liam voice was great on the us leg of this tour as you can hear in this concert. I wish it was always like that
Most concert goers here know Wonderwall and Don't Look Back In Anger. The others have come to see if Noel and Liam are going to have a fight on stage because that's all they know about OASIS.
Gem's guitar sound is like 197 times better than Noel's on this one gig
I disagree. I think it's only 195 times better
Liam's like I'm wearing shorts for this crowd
For all you Brits complaining that the crowd was boring, Oasis was never a big band in the US. They were treated as more of a second tier 90s band at best... Grunge was really the '90s music for American crowds and if you wanted to see crazy crowds you would go to an Alice in chains Soundgarden or Nirvana gig.
So nostalgic I don’t wanna even finish it
Ffs. I've seen more enthusiasm at my grans funeral.
I read 27 year ago,and i was like Fuck!
LOL.
The crowd are an absolute embarrasment
Hahaha
Maybe they were expecting the Backstreet Boys? 😄
Was a great service though, has to be said
at the end of dont look back in anger when they stop playing the crowd where soposed to sing and noel didnt liked when they didnt
What does Noel say?
best line up, best setlist ever
The crowd were probably moving as much as they were permitted too. They were certainly waving their arms around. I think they definitely made their appreciation for the band heard.
what is your problem? if you dont like oasis dont look at your videos. It is one of the best bands in the world and if you think otherwise you dont know music

Noel loves playing Mucky Fingers, you can tell he really gets into it.
Super moment musical et chant merci le groupe oasis et zak starkey batteur
Bring It On Down....AWESOME Version
Noel’s voice is on point here, much better than Liam’s, who on this occasion seems to be recovering from a hangover. I can see why Noel left the band (heartbreaking as it was), he needed to carve out a career away from his younger brother’s antics.
From 28:00, Liam sails through. Love Noel’s licks, Gem’s sick technique and their drummer, Zak. Regardless of the lackluster crowd, this is still a good concert to me.💙
Now the twist. Liam headlining Big festivals and The Chief playing to a couple of thousand. Karma is a bitch.
@@BrunoSilva-fp1mc Liam would be NO WHERE with out Noel's song writing ability ...they both are very good but one is the creator the other the interpreter...Noel carried the band singing/playing on MTV when Liam went nuts
@@mickkeith1688 Noel would be another mate playing at pubs or small gigs if it was not his brother´s voice and act. One hand washes the other,on this case.

Importance of Being Idle is a banger.
Champagne Supernova was perfect!!!
Exactly. A lot of venues in the United States forbid exuberant behavior from the crowds because if someone gets hurt or killed the venue gets sued.
Makes perfect sense. Even injuries sustained will result in the venue's management getting sued
That show was in Mansfield, MA. I actually bought a ticket for it, even though I lived in Louisiana. I was in college and could not make it up to Boston for this
