Armed Forces Day is a chance to show our support for the men and women who make up the Armed Forces community, from currently serving troops to service families, veterans and cadets.
Scottish Journeys wishes to commemorate all serving personnel - past and present. Thank you to all who are currently serving, to the veterans, the cadets and their families too 🙂
Hello & welcome to Scottish Journeys. I enjoy going for walks, travelling & general sightseeing. I created this UA-cam channel so I could share my journeys with you virtually.
Most of my videos are filmed in first person perspective as a virtual walking tour or bus ride, using 3D Binaural Audio so you can experience these places as if you were there with me.

I’m sorry but without the pipes it’s just like all froth and no bubble. I kept waiting for the sound of the pipes and drums like I did as a child in the Royal mile when the pipe band would return from rehearsals. Sometimes they would have the pipes and when they did I would nearly fall out the window in excitement. Sorry brass band didn’t do it for me.

I have watched these parades for a few years on UA-cam the closest I will get to Scotland! Enjoy the music so was wondering about the two men that I got used to seeing!
Tbe Pipe Major is not new...also the Band Master is not new. Yes the Pony soldier is new - I believe the other one may have retired.

I was disappointed there wasn’t much in the way of Pipes and Drums… I did notice the left handed piper - front rank, first from right as the band marched towards the camera. My uncle, who fought with the Seaforths in WW2, was a left handed piper too.
Thought the mother fucker at the end was just giving up. I guess not. Cheers to you ❤
