- A Skitzo the 1920's killer bear short. Skitzo cartoons were all destroyed in the 1920s because people who watched a full episode would become mentally insane and murder people. Now all we can find are the scraps recovered by animation historians...but should we really be uncovering these things???. He is a character that I created originally in my gallery paintings and I later made up his back story for my 1920's styled flash cartoons of him and he also appears as a side character in my comic book series "In The Dark".

Yes, Skitzo does kinda resemble the 1930s style Mickey Mouse, but that gives Skitzo a more vintage ink-blot look, like how cartoon characters looked in the days of silent and early talkie films.

I’ve watched all the episodes from now and it is really good! But I have one complaint. At the end the the animation glitches out then just goes to black or scene missing. I hope you can fix the problem! 👍

You're very twisted... I kinda like what ya did with it XD but I have one question, does Skitzo do all that stuff on purpose? He seems to get possessed when his eyes glow red... like in the first episode. He roars at the other bear and he becomes confused as to why the bear is running afterwards. I mean that doesn't quite explain some of the other things he does... like taking off the top of his head like a hat, but that can be excused as cartoon logic XD

I guess on his psychotic outbursts he has some sort of flashback? Or something happens that flips a switch in his brain? Because in "Fisherman Follies" he sees a bucket of worms and goes on a rampage, killing everything in sight.
Maybe he has skitzophrenia and hallucinates because in "The Other Side" (this episode) he sees a hotdog stand as covered in body parts.
