My Lenovo has a broken LCD but the glass and touch on the front is fine. Am I able to buy a LCD (UHD) and separate my existing one from the touch screen? The LCD I found is non touch. But it looks like the digitizer is built into the screen from where output cables are on the screen.

Did you not watch the first part of the video? He says that the machine is for tablets ~10", then shows that he removed the two side rails in order to fit a bigger screen. *eyeroll*

4 years too late probably, but you can just disconnect the cable that connects to the touch digitizer. No need to separate the two.

I tried this about 20 times. Always failed idk why
I only failed 1 time. Since then i cut of the screens at approx 80°C . But i messed up the screens every time i remove the adhesive.
