Always loved that song. How the preacher dying and giving the hooker his Bible changed her life and her unborn son became a preacher. Touching
So basically the preacher who was holding the blood stained bible up... This mother read it to him... Meaning his mother was the hooker. Her being given that bible changed the course of her life and she raised a child who grew up to be a preacher, all because she was given that bible
It was more then just that the hooker was given the bible - the preacher asked her , can you see the promise land. The 2 of those things together let the hooker go on to live a better life then she had been. She would go on to have a son who would choose to be a preacher because his mother read him the bible she was given. The hooker made the most of her 2nd chance she was given. This proves that any one can change their life's situation to make it better.

Some people are confused about the bus driver. But think about the shape of a bus, the driver is in the very front. Most people sit in the middle or back to get personal space. Also consider this subtle hint “The bus driver never saw the stop sign, and 18-wheelers can’t stop on a dime.” This hints two very important details. 1: it was a T-Bone accident, the driver would have had a better chance at surviving compared to the 4 passengers further back in the bus. 2: it hints the driver was alive to give a statement to first responders, and felt guilt for missing the stop sign. It’s a really powerful song with lots of detail if you listen for it

Judgement is a final verdict. When people scream and fight, don’t judge me, only God can judge they’ve no idea what they’re declaring. Gods judgment is a final declaration at the great white throne judgement. A man or women can judge, only if it’s righteously and to help their brother and sister. You see someone about to shot someone and say “don’t shoot that person”, or if someone is about to steal you say “don’t steal that”. Or if catch someone lying blatantly and you confront them…now why do people say “don’t judge me, only God can judge me”? It’s because they want a free pass to wrong their fellow man. They don’t want accountability for hurting others or even harming themselves. The irony of this is Satan who is scoffed at like a fairy tail creature is behind this spirit of don’t judge me, he doesn’t want people to know we should judge righteous judgement? But what does that mean? It means it’s an action where God brings another man or women into another one’s life to help them get rid of a sin big or small so God doesn’t have to judge them to eternal punishment. This is why the devil has twisted scripture and understanding and people only know the Bible verse “judge not” or “only God can judge me”. Once you know the proper context, application and spirit behind scripture you can walk in the light of scripture and the gospel of Jesus Christ. Scripture below

Both the "Hooker"and the "Preacher"were looking for "Lost Souls". Things change in life...
As I read the comments, it occured to me that we don't know the demise of the driver, but the Farmer, Teacher and Preacher did not survive the wreck, hence the 3 wooden crosses. Most everyone missed the obvious question: Why was the Hooker spared? We are told at last that she was pregnant and her unborn son grew up to replace the Preacher in life. That was the last nail... Did you miss it too?

The lyrics did not say she was pregnant. The preacher relating the story to the congregation just teils us that the hooker was his mother, and that his mother read to him from that bible. Nothing else.
If I didn’t mention it before. Kane brown heaven and what if and worship you. I don’t know if your into Samson, but he’s pretty happening right now. Not county but any means but has sone good songs. As does burden. Not all are political, but the ones that are might be along the lines of Tom Macdonald. Anything from Samson is great. He even has a channel from his childhood if you like him. It’s pretty fun to go through.

@@SidewaysEightSix I have always suspected that the driver could of been the Hooker maybe or the preacher who would eventually die from the injuries obtained in the wreck. After the Hooker was given the preachers bloodstained bible and the message of the preachers last words that were for the Hooker - it allowed her to change her life - go on to become a more productive member of society and goes on to have a son who chooses to become a preacher probably because of the inspiration he got from his mom.
I don't know if you know this but sadly Randy Travis can no longer sing due to the fact he had a massive stroke and needed brain surgery it robbed him of his ability to play guitar and perform it also limited his speech doctors told his wife that he had only a 1 or 2 percent chance of survival but he survived this all happened back in 2013
