I prefer the Praline Épicé better, but it's in my comfort zone. I need to keep playing with the Tyrian. I might mix it with the Violette Vespertine. Thanks for watching today.
The quads are a great way to try the brand. I'm a huge fan of a limited color story, so these really appeal to me. I also enjoy the etendú palettes. 12 colors in a magnetic palette that allow you to rearrange or swap in different shades. All Viseart palettes are magnetic, but the etendú size is so good. Thanks for watching today.
Love both looks. Im same with really deep colors, I get the appeal and I do like them but its not my first choice as eyeshadow colors I wear. Happy holidays ! ✨
Happy Holidays to you too! I love the look of the promo photos, so I picked up the Tyrian. It's a bit more difficult for me to use, but I'm going to keep trying. I thought the colors would've been closer to the Violette Vespertine, and I've been enjoying those shades a lot. The Tyrian has more intense purple to it. I'll switch up application, tools, and skip the "primed" eye. I'll see if that helps.
That Praline Epice looks like the petit four I was waiting for. Love the look of that taupe metallic shade. And that brown is light but on my light skintone it would be perfect. But I have to say I love the purple look you did with the other palette. Even it was harder to work with and the purple isn't your color. I thought the look came out beautiful and really festive. Even purple is out of your confort zone I think it suits you. Thanks for making these reviews. Maby 2024 will be the year that I finally try out my first viseart palette. ( I love an smaller palette, just like you)
I know the Épicé is going to turn into my daily palette. Just enough shades, and a cool taupe. I couldn't ask for anything more. I'm going to try the purple one again and use the dark shade as liner. I might enjoy it more. I know that purple is a lovely color and I enjoy wearing it as clothing, but on my eyes it always makes me just a little worried. 😲 Thanks for watching today!
Going to try to recreate the Praline Epicee with my Sydney Grace singles. Overbought last year so trying to stand down. Thanks for the comparisons, they are so helpful.
You could totally get a similar look with SG singles. Iced Mocha, Pismo or San Jose would be good options for the matte. Hot Stuff, Blushed, & Major could also work. If you have any palettes, remember that they're magnetic. You could hold a piece of paper and a magnet over a shadow to pull it out of an existing palette to create your own or rearrange an existing palette. I feel like Loves Journey could get you close if you pull in a gold from somewhere else. I think you could also get a very comparable look with the Unbreakable Bond palette. There are both warm and cool tones in that one. If you already have these colors in SG, don't spend. It's a lovely quad, but I get palettes like this for review. My channel allows me to create a beauty budget and spend more than the regular everyday consumer. I never want to encourage you to overspend. I'm glad you're pulling your SG singles out. They're still my favorite eyeshadow brand.
My first Viseart palette is the Cashmerie - which I bought in the Black Friday sale. That Praline palette is right up my alley! I’m on a low buy so I’ll wait and see if I’m still craving it when they have another sale. Thanks for this and happy healthy new year!
I actually got both of these! They were offering free shipping and could not resist 🤦🏻♀️🤣. Of the two, Tyrian is my favorite and I wore it for Christmas Eve. Praline Epice isn’t bad but I think the color story isn’t for my skin tone. I may pass it along to my mom. I may pick some up for the summer sale. Glad you got to demo these.
Thanks for watching today. I'm glad you're enjoying the Tyrian. I'm going to try it again, but switch up a few things. The Épicé is perfect for my coloring, and was so much easier for me to use.
Oh good, I was hoping to see a video on these new quads from someone who loves Viseart so thank you! I have the Tyrian arriving today! Fun fact, I had no idea this had purple tones to it. 😅 I don’t think that is very noticeable on Beautylish or the Viseart outer packaging, however, I am not complaining. I can’t wait to see it in person now. I will be purchasing the Praline Epice next.
I've got to try the Tyrian again, and instead of a swiping motion, only use a patting motion for the darkest color. That might help. I'll also try it on a completely bare lid instead of having a concealer and powder down. I really loved the Praline Epice, it wore so beautifully yesterday! I knew it would be my type of color story. Neutral with a slightly cooler lean. I LOVE the taupe shade in that palette. Thanks for watching today.
YAY!!!!! I want both of the pecan ones!!!! They look so pretty!!!! 🤍🤎🤍🤎🤍🤎🤍🤎🤍🤎🤍🤎🤍🤎🤍🤎🤍🤎🤍🤎🤍🤎 how do those brown ones compare to the Sigma Ambiance I feel like they are similar
There's a lot of similar colors between these quads and the ambiance palette. The formula is different. I feel like the Praline and the Praline Epice both have a slightly softer press on the pans, and the metallic formulas aren't as dry as the Sigma. I feel like the colors are very similar, so if you feel like you already have what you like in the Sigma, you wouldn't need these smaller palettes. I usually default to using a smaller palette, so these Petits Fours get a lot of use in my collection.
I see Tyrian to have similar shades as those in the Paris Etoile. I liked the purple look on you, but understand why it’s not your preference. Purples are alot of look! The purples in the Etoile are my least used shades. Thank you for the review and the comparisons!
I don't have the Paris etoile. I knew it was going to be too dark for my preference. I didn't realize the Tyrian would be this dark. I'll try and use the dark shade at liner next time. Thanks for watching.
It's a mixture. At the beginning while creating the purple look, it's just the elf lip oil in jam session. When I finish the purple look, I swap it out for Givenchy Sheer Velvet in shade Nude Boise. At the end of the video, I layer more of the elf lip oil over the top of the Givenchy lipstick.
LOVE all the Petit Fours and I get them all 😂! These are wonderful, and you see correct that purples are hard to formulate. I have green eyes, so I love purples, and I think Visiart does purple the best. :) Loved both looks on you . I’m actually wearing the Petit Four in Pesce today 😂
I really love the Petits Four format. It's one of my all time favorite release. The only ones I don't have were the spring releases from this year. The teal one was way too much for me, and the pink ones were so similar to what I already had. I just wasn't excited about them. These two pulled me in instantly. I'm going to have to figure the Tyrian out. I think it's a matter of application. I'll try different brushes, patting instead of swiping, and a completely bare lid. Maybe that will make the difference. Thanks so much for watching today, and enjoy that peach eyeshadow you're wearing!
@@thelipstickgal I think you did a great job with that palate and the looks on you. I think sometimes we are just used to seeing ourselves in certain colors. :-) I adore the Petit Four format. And the peach one I’ve had for a long time and I wear it a lot. It is so complementary on me. I get compliments every time I wear it 😆.
Thanks for the comparisons and your thoughts about the metallics. I do not like hard pressed shadows, I am not able to pick up the pigment with the synthetic brushes I have. 😊
I am definitely a neutral eyeshadow user. I had the violette etendu years ago and I did not use it that much, purples make me look sick sometimes, I need to have a full face with make up to see myself in vivid purples. What I use a lot is a neutral shadow combo with a glittery purple eyeliner, it is very pretty I think and easy/quick to do
Yes, the Tyrian is harder pressed than I'm used to in Viseart metallics. They're lovely shades, but I have to work just a bit harder to get the color to pick up on my brushes. Something to keep in mind if you prefer a softer press.
Purple is such an intense color on me, and brings out all the darkness under my eyes. I use it sparingly, or try and mix it with browns to warm it up. I'll probably mix the Tyrian with the Violette Vespertine, and reach for the more taupe or cool browns to help me get a more cohesive look out of this quad. I do love to wear purple clothing, but it's usually a purple with more red in it. I've never mastered the look of purple eyeshadow.
I actually picked it up the Tyrian, but I have a specific use for it. I was surprised that it was quite a bit cooler and deeper than extreme aubergine in Mothership 5, more blue-grey leaning; That shade is a little difficult as well. I usually use these colors with the Sonia G soft definer brush and work in very small sections. The dry, light topper shade reminds me a lot of PML’s astral solstice from Divine Rose. It similarly, gives a pretty, softening, scattered effect over the deeper colors. 😊
I really liked the way the metallic shades layered over the mattes in the Tyrian. I'm going to have to try it again, and use a patting motion instead of a sweeping motion. That might help with applying the dark purple. I thought my Sonia G and Rephr brushes would make everything apply perfectly, but there are some formulas that are trickier. I'll keep trying it, and see how it goes. I didn't think it was a purple as it turns out to be. Photos lead me to believe it was similar to the new Violette Vespertine. I like those purple shades, but this one is very purple!
@@thelipstickgal I think using the smallest brush possible can help. I started with the Rephr 01 before using the soft definer. It was too big and fluffy. Maybe starting with the flat definer or Refr 21 for packing for maximum precision. I like playing around so we’ll see! I also picked up the original Cashmerie & Lilas Deux on sale (couldn’t help myself!) on your recommendation and I really love them. I’m officially a Viseart fan! 😁 They also have great customer service as my order arrived with a mistake and they fixed it immediately. Now it’s time for a no buy year 😅
I love the Lilas Deux and the Original Cashmerie. They're two of my favorites and most reached for from the brand. Such perfect palettes for the type of makeup I like to wear! I'll try smaller brushes, and see if that helps.
Welcome back, think I’ll pass on those, I love purples but that one is way too dark for my liking and I don’t think that other one would work on my olive complexion. I was able to get the XL Beautylish box this year, wahoo.❤
I picked up the XL box as well. I can't wait until it arrives! I think the purple palette is going to give me a work out, but I'll keep trying it. I love the other one, it's perfect for my complexion. Thanks for watching today.

I hope the colors are perfect for me! I hope your hubby gets better soon. Pneumonia is difficult. Sorry. I was thinking about picking up the mini palette and blush. I opted to skip. It's beautiful, but not something I need. Happy New Year! Thanks for watching.

What’s cool about Viseart is that in the shade descriptions on their website they encourage users to apply certain eyeshadow shades on the face!
I'll have to check the website out. I haven't noticed that before. Thanks.
I also ordered these and I think I’ll like the Praline on me better. They both look beautiful on you!
