Bill Snyder really turned K-State around because they used to be really bad. Gary Barnett did the same with Northwestern. But what Bill Snyder did was absolutely amazing. He deserves alot of credit I think from 1992 K-State started turning it around. They started battling & beating Nebraska, Colorado, & Oklahoma's of the world.
They won at least 9 games for like 10 out of 11 years They went undefeated bishops senior ywar and lost in the big 8 title game and then in the bowl game to drew brees
Bill Snyder is a top 5 greatest HC of all time. What he did for that KSU football program is nothing short of miraculous. I'm a diehard UGA fan thru and thru, back in the 90's and early 2000's, I cheered for the purple and silver like I graduated from there. KSU should've been the '98 natty champs, Mike Stoops playing not to lose in the BigXII Championship game is a disgrace, they shouldn't have gave a shit about the UCLA-Miami game. KSU would've boatraced Tennessee in Tempe.
The main reason why he got drafted so low and didn't get a real chance in the league was his lackluster combine results. He was 6'1 205 ran a slow 4.85 forty and didn't throw too well. He just wasn't prepared for the combine like he should have been. I mean on tape, he looks like at least 4.5 in the 40 and was throwing dimes with crazy arm strength. He looked much more polished as passer than Vick with Vick like arm strength and more athletic than McNabb on tape he just sucked at the combine
Idk if it was nerves or what but he dropped the ball at combine ina major way which ultimately lead to him playing most of his career in the Canadian league
Watch any of his press conferences and you will know why. He was prone to making/doing/saying stupid things. He could throw a ball from his knees 75+ yards to a dime, but he wasn't exactly working with a full deck of cards upstairs.
@@D3korums After Bishops amazing preseason game Tom the cheat Brady made sure that Bishop never saw the light of day again. As he did all of his backup QBs after that. Bishop just went to the wrong team. Sadly.
Man I remember watching him as a kid. He was born 20 years too early.
Legit one of greatest college qbs ever and %90 of college football fans have no idea who he is
MIKE B WAS A DOPE PLAYER AND TEAMMATE!!... WE HAD THE BEST PRACTICES..💪🏿👑
If Bishop played in today’s 🏈 era .. He’d be a top 10 draft pick! #7 was a killer!!!
Facts 💯💯💯 he was a best fr fr
Holy shit that last play is insane. 60+ yards off the back foot while taking a hit
And he was a nice humble dude in person...saw him around campus back in the day.
Bishop was tough as nails!
My goodness he was amazing
Michael Bishop and Tom Brady were backup QBs behind Drew Bledsoe. Patriots fans wanted Bishop to replace Bledsoe. Nobody had a clue who Brady was yet.
Strongest arm ever, they said he once launched a ball to the goal line from the 7 or 8 yard line 92.5 yards 😳😳
He and Michael Vick and Kordell Stewart are the strongest armed college QB's I have ever seen.
Put this man in the college football HOF already.
Happy to say he finally made it in!
The last play was ridiculous!!
Threw that 50 yard BOMB after the scramble SMH!!!

It was the GREATEST turnaround in college football history
Tom Brady called Bishop "one of the best athletes he has ever seen". Both were backups to Bledsoe in 2000.
He should have been given the oportunity to earn $$$ in the nfl,he was the greatest qb kstate ever had
God bless

MB has one of the 10 strongest arms in all football history!
I meet him at a k state game
Probably the greatest KState athlete of all time besides Michael Beasley
❤😊
This guy got drafted by new England and never had a chance

Locketts run Kansas State

Yea he ran 4.49 at KSU then 4.82-4.84 at the combine
Sad they wasn't giving black quarterbacks a fair shot back then dude had 1st rd talent easy in today's era
@David Webb shut yo dumbass up
@David Webb and no white ppl jus aren't good enough to play running back and receiver on a mass level
@David Webb jus lik u weren't good enough 😂😂
This stud only lasted 1yr in the NFL?

They didn't like black qbs back then
