greeting from japan. i like your work. i have a question. why do you use nail gun to fix two pieces of OSB materials? is it bad to use screws to fix them?
Echt klasse Video geworden.
i'm also going to use OSB for my metal workbench mainly because i'm cheap ... and secondo because osb has good quality when it comes to drawsers. Beside that thanks for the video and you got me the idea to use that round wooden bits (cant remember the name) to join the drawers!. Seems a fairly good connection! Screws will destroy the end-grain of the OSB .... so .. good choice! subscribing
Air nailing into osb is scetchy. I have had brad nails turn and come back out. One hit me in the saftey glasses i had on, thank goodness. Sense i never use air nailers on osb.
If that what he had lying around , yhen its near enough free . My cabinets are 18mm ply i had salvaged from the fllr of my old shed. The drawers are going to be osb, because i have a fair bit left over from other projects. Hence all near enough free.
Great project. Try to capture more frames, from different positions when filming repetitive tasks. Also, be consistent with the fonts. If you're experimenting with the videos right now that's great, but try to find your stile, and be consistent. Keep up the good work!
Gott. Wer hat denn den Rahmen geschweißt? Tolles Ergebnis.
My next job to do with 18mm OSB in my workshop, perfect thankyou
OSB is pretty when stained and varnished , wipe the excess glue off while its still wet

sugar0000 I agree, dowels and glue seem like the best joinery method.
How are these OSB drawers holding up?
Dude - you're scaring me the way you drill and staple towards your hand. One slip and you'll be in the emergency room. (Trust me)
Tim Foster emergency room? Man a napkin off the floor of the truck and some electrical tape and you're good to go.

Worth it? I mean, is OSB that much cheaper than plywood, is it easier to work with (i.e. sawing, holding glue, nailing, etc.) and are they holding up?

how are these holding up 3 years later?
subbed!
Next time pre drill your drawer pull hardware. Use the holes to screw on your false front.
Good job bro.

+Ovidiu-Florin BOGDAN Thank you, yes you're right, i try to find the right style.
Ovidiu-Florin BOGDAN iiii
Sehr gut! Brauche ich auch.
+Hu Ko Na dann nicht aufhalten lassen 😉
What was the cost for this project? What thickness OSB did you use?
+Joseph Lucero I used 15mm OSB for the drawers and 21mm for the side pieces. I payed about 40 € for the sliders and 30 € for the wood.
Tell me that massive table was not built from 2 x 2 wood.
No, it's steel. But i didn’t build it. I got it for free from a neighbour. And it was not build for drawers, because it has no square corners.
If it has no square corners or 90 degree angles it sounds like something that I built.
