"But it's a dry heat" 😆 That is some serious heat. Last summer when we were around 110 it was not comfortable to ride. If you opened your visor, it was like looking into a blast furnace. Stay hydrated if you go out in that, my friend!
Ahhh ... cold fresh air. That sounds great right now as it is supposed to be 108 today and 115 by the weekend. Beautiful ride through the pines thams for posting. How are the new tires doing? I did take a cruse last night about midnight when it was in the brisk 80's
The Tusk D Sport front is doing great. I have ridden it through mud, snow, gravel, and hard pack and it has been great. I think the MT21 is is maybe a little better in the loose stuff, but I like the Tusk much better on pavement, and the wear seems to be less apparent so far. Those are ridiculously hot temps man, I hope you get some cooler air tonight! Ride safe!
I think that day no one knew it was open yet! I only saw the one car coming down. No one else was up there, and no one passed me on my way down. I did see that interesting road to the left of the "upper" gate. I wonder where that goes....
No, just a couple of parking areas for access to view points. You could probably hike up and stealth camp, but it’s a high traffic spot and there are several camp grounds and dispersed camping areas in such close proximity that would be better options.
@@randomlyTrees I’ve been riding my DR 650 every chance I can and loving it. My wife rode on the road in front of our house for the first time yesterday with her new Dual sport . Hoping by next summer we’ll be already to ride to some of our favorite places. Keep the videos coming we really enjoy watching .

My wife is nervous to ride, but I recently bought a bigger bike so she can ride 2up with me. I’ve just got to get some practice on the big bike myself! Really appreciate the comment.
