If I don’t have chicken stock on hand I sometimes use beef stock. Just as good
Good way to make rice a bit more nutritious and digestible. Well done!
As a Bangladeshi, I love that you added ghee ❤
Beautiful, my mouth is watering already
I make sticky white rice, when it’s done and still hot I put some in a bowl along with tons of butter, sugar & cinnamon. Stir well & enjoy, it’s probably not healthy but it’s so good!
Shut up with that weird shit you dosser
If you like eggs. Add a egg too and you have healthy fats and good protein aswell
Like hard boiling them?
@@ronmaximilian6953yes
@ronmaximilian6953 You could add hard boiled eggs, but you could also scramble the eggs with cooked rice to make egg fried rice which is absolutely delightful.
Great idea
Job well done👍🏽. Especially because you did not use a rice cooker. What do you typical eat the rice with?
No rice cooker here 😂 and just any meat and veggie really! It just serves as a staple carb in my diet!
@@calrreynolds apologies. I meant to say you did not use a rice cooker. 👍🏽
Jasmine rice is the best👌
Agreed!
Since I’ve learned how to pressure can, I started using my chicken broth to make rice & let me tell you, it has been a game changer!
Love this ❤
I make mine with chicken bone broth and tomato juice with a little beef tallow and some olive oil,I tell you this shit is amazing the flavor is fantastic and great for building . muscle
Great work bro 😎
OKAY THANK YOUUUU
I’ve been wanting to use bone broth instead of water for rice so I’m glad I found this video, my only concern is how do I count the calories of the bone broth since the rice absorbs it and I’d be preparing a week’s worth of servings?
The easiest way would be using MyFitnessPal and just count the amount you’re pouring in, Count the total amount of rice, and divide the total by the number of servings you’re using.
Add a cinnamon stick to pot too when cooking
After cooking leave it overnight in the fridge. This converts it to resistant starch.
REDUCE RICE ARSNIC.
1. Rinse the rice throughly.
2. Leach the rice by soaking for several hours.
3. Drain and rinse again.
4. Now steam the tender rice.
It will be loose and fluffy.
In less cooking time.
GREAT
Also when shopping buy rice from India (ex: indian basmati) or other countries where arsenic levels in soil are relatively lower.
@@SIickTurtIevery true. most American rice doesn’t have this issue but it is good practice elsewhere
Add little pepper
The best rice
What was the measurement on rice and was it the whole carton of the broth?
chicken bullion will add a nice taste too
Just add the Ghee with the water. Easier to distribute
doesnt it add a TON of salt?
Not anymore than using regular broth/adding salt to your water. If sodium is a concern you can always get a reduced/no sodium broth. Or make your own for even cheaper.
What’s the background music?
How can I incorporate this with a a diet I’m trying to eat everyday? Basically a chipotle first bowl but I wanna add something to (Basmatti Rice).
I like to add cilantro and lime with my rice!😊
Do use basmati, its a delicate variety of rice will become a gooey mess
What does he add after it’s done I can’t understand the last part
Hey idk if you found out, but it’s Ghee. Which if you dk is like a clarified butter. Very rich and has some nutrients ()
I’m ashamed I didn’t even think to switch water to bone broth. Maximize the muuunch
What was the paste you out in, geeb?
Ghee butter
It’s ghee a type of fat where butter is melted to a creamy texture it is an Indian food and it’s very good
smart move...
Measurements?
1 cup dry rice to 1.5 cups liquid!
Ghee is not a healthy fat. It's very high in saturated fat.
Lol who told you that nonsense
@@shengki333 have you actually Googled it buddy?
Not only is it extremely high in saturated fats, it is likely THE reason for why India has such high heart attack rates (and other cardiovascular problems).
Ghee is basically, a heart attack in a can.
But you're free to consumer it all you like 👍🏽
@@Cloudnine2024 you read first if consumed in moderation it's not bad
@@shengki333I'm assuming English isn't a language that you've mastered yet. But what I think you said was: "if you read the first result on Google, it says eating ghee in moderation is ok.'
My response to that would be:
1. You've just agreed with me that Ghee isn't healthy.
2. Smoking a single cigarette every once in a while isn't going to kill you, however smoking everyday will increase your chances of early death significantly. Just like consuming ghee. It's still a very unhealthy product.
3. How would you define moderation? No more than 10 grams a day (less than a table spoon)? Once a week? Once a month?
People in India clearly aren't consuming ghee in moderation.
When it comes to ghee, just like cigarettes, why even consume it at all if your body clearly doesn't want it. And there are much healthier alternatives.
Again, it is your life. You are allowed to make bad choices. Just don't try to convince me that they aren't bad choices when the evidence is clear as day.
@@Cloudnine2024 lol who the hell are you to judge my English and assume English isn't my first language. Ghee is not bad compared to butter
Don't use metal utensils in a non-stick pot 🤦🏼
Steak shrimp salmon
and a ton of saturated fats?
Haiya just use a rice cookerr, you have a saucepan that mean you can afford a rice cooker..
Just use a rice cooker Haiyaaa
🙏✝️🤴👍👏👏👏👏👏👏
Dry ingredients should be measured with the correct flat measuring tool.
Would have been a good job if you washed your rice properly
Please tell us how do you wash rice properly?
Broth doesn't have protein
Strainer rice is so cringe.
You become Indian
Not quite. Isn't that beef broth?
He added ghee at the end its a south asian thing
Can you say “its a game changer” in a monotone voice so i can get more annoyed?
It's HUGE in carbohydrates.!
Well that depends on how much you eat.... but still carb consumption comes down to individual needs and preference. Some like a low carb diet, some like a moderate carb diet and some like a high carb diet.. I'm personally a lower carb guy but a few cups a rice a day still fit the mold for my lifestyle and nutritional needs to fuel my body and maintain a solid physique
@@calrreynolds 43 grams in one cup. That's a days worth of carbs. Not good
@@thealgonquin5822 not a days worth of carbs for anyone who isn’t Keto 💀
@@ikeaman7247 everyone has a different lifestyle.
@@thealgonquin5822 not a days worth for me 😂
I don't like ghee! 🤢
And no one forces u to eat it?
