I have many different brands and they all seem to end up leaking. What’s your favorite brand and how do I stop the usually obnoxious leaking (or weeping. Maybe they all cry when seeing my artwork? 🥺 LOL)?
Hmmm I have just been using ones that come included in watercolor kits and haven't had that problem. I know it's not crying at your artwork!!! I don't currently have a solution for that sorry!
I made a set I have in my shop, which I'm showing in this video: www.rebelunicorncrafts.com/product-page/set-of-6-waterbrush-pens And here's a set from amazon (affiliate link): amzn.to/3R3EPxr
I always find the brush a little bit too wet, which is annoying because I love to have a wet on dry and it's really hard to do with the brush pen. Any idea how to work around it please? Thank you 🤍
Have you tried dabbing it a little bit on a paper towel or sponge to soak up some of the water? You definitely want the brush to be at least a little wet, but too wet is definitely annoying.
For watercolor on a canvas, I'd recommend stretching watercolor paper onto a canvas or putting watercolor ground onto that canvas. Otherwise, most canvases are not prepped to receive watercolor.
can someone help? i have the same brush in the video. but after i squeze it, the air goes into the brush and makes bubbles there. after it happens and i squeze it again, the bubbles comes out of brush and leaves bubble prints on paper or watercolor. after that the air comes into the brush again and same thing continues to happen. idk how to stop it. do you guys have any ideas/tips to stop this please?
it might be a low quality brush,, I used to have the same problem years ago and stopped using it bc I thought I was the problem, but some months ago I bought high wquality brushes and they were live changing!! Try other brands

I bought some and I didn't know how to use them and you explained it better than a manual can.
Now that you've explained use, Lacey, I'm willing to try them!
Ty! ♡
Also, they unscrew Backward from what you'd expect!
Yes, some brands. Occasionally I’ll see some that go as you’d think, but many go ‘backwards’
