She has amazing control over her runs and Head Voice, she just needs to perfect her support in her belting. When she isn’t doing the fabulous runs her voice sometimes sounds “so-so”.
ccishot564 I think it was just her nerves being that she was in front of millions of people. Look up her performance of "Make You Feel my Love" from when she was 15. It's flawless and she supports every belting note, even better than Adele's version IMO.

She could be a lyric coloratura.... but her voice seems to have too much weight for her to be a Lyric soprano. Ariana Grande is a lyric, and Christina Aguilera is a light lyric (if not a coloratura lyric) and both of them have less weight to their voices. I think she might be some form of a coloratura mezzo soprano like Beyoncé.

Yes her voice is very well controlled except in her upper belts. But she is a greaaaaat vocalist!
