Word from the wise since having mine now 4 years, ALWAYS TAKE YOUR XF S TO THE LAND ROVER DEALERSHIP TO GET A DIAGNOSTIC! They will give you a rundown from the bonnet to the boot. @@amil_xyz I spent about 2k on maintenance and pre maintenance. I love every mile I do.
I got the gear box oil changed
Timing belt
Bushes
Differential oil and seal changed
Wipers
Bulbs
Alloys refurbished as three where bent.
Ceramic coated and stage 3 machine polished
Serviced minor

Just bought the 2014 3.0 Portfolio and must say that I am impressed with the car so far .
Mine is only the 240 hp and cba with a remap or anything , plenty happy with what I’ve got .

Best luxury sedan ive ever purchased. dpf removed and retuned to 320plus hp. using only shell v power diesel and valvoline synpower oil ;)

Smooth lnstant lower, xf very good car.
Brother I have a doubt on the output figures of this engine. I think Indian version gets the tuned down version of 245 bhp and 450NM-500NM of torque. I don’t remember correctly just asking
there is a v6 240hp and a v6 275hp. usually the 275hp comes with the s portfolio package
@@gregcy89 Yes, S model standard 275hp Not necessarily Portfolio as mine is a Premium Luxury S with all the extras added. Remapped to 325hp now

@@mattyrab3477 cheers, sounds quick as fook. I'm really tempted on a xf s. I don't suppose you know if they have a chain or a timing belt do you? I have a car dealer telling me its a timing chain and doesn't need changing but most of online forums suggest they have a belt 🤷♂️
@@sparko2012 the 275hp has a timing belt on mine on the engine 306dt
